Igarashi Discusses Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night At SXSW Panel

By Andy Mills, 9 months ago
Originally started in 1987 as a music festival, South By Southwest — SXSW for short — has expanded into film and, more recently, video games. One game at this year's festival was the Kickstarter-funded Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night. At the show, there was an hour long panel focused on the game and discussed with none other than Koji Igarashi himself.

In amongst this nearly hour long panel, we got a look at changes to one of the game's bosses, Vepar; a confirmation of cooking in the game with a look at how it works; a brand new familiar; and the announcement that the Alpha Backer Demo release date will be announced in the March Kickstarter update.

Not only will the demo release date be announced in the March Kickstarter update, but the team are apparently ready to start talking about the game's general release date, so hopefully we'll be able to bring you more news about Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night soon.
