Cave is well known for a genre known as ‘bullet hell shoot em ups’ or just plain ‘shoot em ups.’ They are often referred to colloquially as ‘shmup.’ In this genre, you often shoot as a spaceship or flying contraption of some type from the bottom of the screen, trying to kill multitudes of enemies as they enter the screen from the top. You are hopelessly and vastly outnumbered. In addition, these enemies are able to fire a staggering amount of bullets. We recently were treated to another announcement from Cave. This new shmup is known as Dangun Feveron

The game is currently available in Japan. Publisher M2 has revealed that they will now be bringing the game west.
