Lumines Remastered Announced

By Kelly Packard, 4 months ago
Enhance Games has announced Lumines Remastered. As the name would imply, it's a remaster of the original Lumines puzzle game, which launched on PSP in in 2004.

The remaster is overseen by Enhance President and CEO Tetsuya Mizuguchi, who worked on the original Lumines almost 15 years ago. He is also known for Rez, another colorful and critically acclaimed title, which came to PlayStation in 2016 as Rez Infinite. Lumines was based on "the idea of blending great visuals with music," which Mizuguchi says, "To me, is like a chemical reaction." In the game, 2x2 blocks are dropped to make matches and stop the board from filling up.

Lumines Remastered is slated to launch in May 2018 and will support 4k on compatible hardware.
