Tennis World Tour Arrives in May

By Rebecca Smith,
It's been quite a while since a proper tennis simulation game came to Playstation consoles; in fact, Breakpoint's Tennis World Tour will be the first tennis simulation game on PlayStation 4 in regions outside of Australia. You won't have much longer to wait for the title as publisher Bigben Interactive has confirmed that the title will be arriving in May.

The international cover for the game features the current world No. 1 ranked player in men's singles tennis, Roger Federer. He is joined by Angelique Kerber and Stan Wawrinka. However, certain countries will have their own variants of the cover with local stars accompanying Federer. You can see all of the covers below.

In the meantime, the game's first developer diary shows how they used motion capturing to make sure that the animations were as accurate as they could possibly be. Creative director Etienne Jacquemain takes us behind the scenes of one of those motion capturing sessions that features French professional player Maxime Teixeira on a proper tennis court.

There's just over two months to go before the game is released on May 22nd.
