Defiance 2050 Stream Gives More Details

By Rebecca Smith, 15 days ago
Last week, Trion Worlds took the surprising step of announcing Defiance 2050 for PlayStation 4. There was a lot of confusion over whether this was a completely new title or a port of the original title, and players weren't sure exactly what to expect from the few details available. Community Manager Scott Jasper, Producer Matt Pettit and Designer Drew Sheetz took to the latest Defiance livestream to clarify a few details and show off more of the game.

Defiance 2050 is a "re-imagining of what Defiance is" for the current generation of consoles. As part of that re-imagining, the game has been designed as free-to-play and will include a long list of game changes. The main aim of the stream was to introduce players to these changes and the full stream can be viewed below. The stream begins with the game's announcement trailer at 3:28.

Defiance 2050 is due to be released this summer. If you fancy trying out the game before its release, you can sign up to get into the closed beta here.
