Playstation Plus Titles for March 2018 Announced

By Rebecca Smith, 7 months ago
It's the last day of February, and Sony has left it a bit late to reveal the games that players will be receiving as part of their Playstation Plus subscription next month. Don't fret, though, because we now have the list and it includes some big titles. However, we also have some upcoming subscription changes to announce.

We'll stick with the good news first. Like last month, there are no differences between the March 2018 list for North America and Europe, and the titles will be available from March 6th. The full list is below with six titles as we no longer have a bonus VR title. Thanks to cross-buy, PS4 players will be able to download five new titles, while PS3 and Vita players get two titles apiece. Here's the list:

PlayStation 4

PlayStation 3

PlayStation Vita

As well as the above free titles, PS+ members will get access to the "Dungeon Defenders PS Plus Pack" as a great starting point for Dungeon Defenders II. The pack includes four Shadow Costumes, 1 Million gold, five Campaign Shard Packs, five Defender Packs, and a Ninja Gato Pet. The pack can be downloaded from March 13th and will be available until April 10th.

Finally, we move on to the bad news. Next year, there will be changes to the games that players receive as part of their PlayStation Plus subscription every month. From March 8th, 2019, the list of PS+ titles will no longer include games from the PlayStation 3 or PlayStation Vita. Sony didn't clarify whether this would mean that subscribers will continue to receive six games per month, but I would imagine that this would be unlikely. On the other hand, if Sony wishes to compete with Microsoft's Games With Gold service, they'll need to offer at least four titles per month.

All PS3 and Vita games that you have already downloaded as part of the service will continue to be available as long as you remain subscribed to PS+. You will also continue to be able to use cloud saves and the other PS+ benefits on those two platforms. However, if there are players who don't wish to continue their subscription once the program switches solely to PS4 games, remember to turn off auto-renewal in your account settings before March 8th, 2019.
