In geometry, an octahedron is a polyhedron with eight faces, twelve edges, and six vertices. In video games, however, Octahedron
is a fast-paced psychedelic platformer with a focus on verticality as opposed to the genre's horizontal norms. Now one-man developer Demimonde — with a little help from the folks at Square Enix Collective — has a release date for the game.
Okay, so the geometrical octahedron is still there too
The date was revealed in the game's most recent minute-long trailer, which you can check out below. It's synced to part of a soundtrack that's set to include work from and Super Hexagon
composer Chipzel, trance producers Andre Sobota and Derek Howell, and even developer Marco Guardia himself, who has his own musical experience as one half of Swiss trance act Flutlicht back in the early '00s. The more you know!
jumps onto PlayStation 4 on March 20th.
