If you've got kids, or have children in the family you may see now and again, then you may be aware of a particular hit cartoon known as PAW Patrol. Nickelodeon's hit animated preschool series is a force with which to be reckoned, and personally for me, it sees quite a lot of viewing time on the living room TV thanks to my two daughters. Nickelodeon and video game publisher Outright Games have announced PAW Patrol: On a Roll, an adventure title that will, of course, be based on the cartoon series.
Marshall, Zuma, Rubble, Chase, Rocky and Skye
The game will follow the adventures of the heroic and talented rescue pups known as Chase, Marshall, Rubble, Skye, Rocky, Zuma, Everest, and Tracker, along with their human team leader and tech-head Ryder, and Ryder's custom-made robot, Robo-Dog. Residing in Adventure Bay, the team do their best to protect the Bay from trouble and mischief and believe that "no job is too big, no pup is too small!".
16 rescue missions will be on offer and players will be able to use the pups' unique abilities to conquer the missions. Explore eight different locations in Adventure Bay including Farmer Yumi's Farm, Jake's Mountain, and more. The puzzle-platforming action looks to suit kids of all ages, so this could be a great opportunity to get the kids involved with gaming if you don't game together already. Terry Malham, CEO of Outright Games, goes further into the family-fun factor:
PAW Patrol is a series the entire family can enjoy, so we are creating a video game that children and parents can have fun playing together. We are excited to reveal more about the action-packed features in the coming months, so stay tuned!
As promised, there will be more content to cover in the future. PAW Patrol: On A Roll is currently looking to release on the PlayStation 4 in September 2018.
