Two Familiar Faces Join The Roster Of SOULCALIBUR VI

As with any good fighting game series, Bandai Namco is slowly revealing the roster for SOULCALIBUR VI. Today, they announced another two characters for the upcoming fighter and both should be familiar to any fans of the franchise, but first, after the Mitsurugi showcase yesterday, Bandai Namco has a whole load of screenshots of the samurai in action, as well as fellow sword-wielder Sophitia.

The first familiar face is one of the series' most recognisable characters, the whip-wielding Ivy. Fans will already know this but newcomers, you may want to wait to watch this one away from school or work if you want to avoid any strange glances from those around you. She's not exactly wrapped up warm, put it that way.

The other returning fighter is the eternally-reincarnating Zasalamel. Introduced in Soulcalibur III, he's back again after missing SoulCalibur V and he's brought along his trusty scythe.

SOULCALIBUR VI is currently scheduled to launch later this year. Presumably we'll hear more about characters old and new before then.
