CODE VEIN Character Reveals, Screenshots, and Multiplayer Announced

By Ethan Anderson, 7 months ago
There are questions about multiplayer functionality on many of Bandai Namco's social media posts for the upcoming CODE VEIN. The publisher has finally given a definitive answer to those questions, along with more character reveals and ton of screenshots.

Those who are having trouble defeating the Lost will have the ability to request aid from other players. You will be able to explore and complete dungeons with another player as well as your A.I. companion. You will also have access to gestures, stamps, and voice commands for in-game communication.

In addition to the multiplayer announcement, two new characters named Karen and Cruz have been detailed. Karen is Louis' older sister. For those who don't know, Louis is the character that you see in most of the game's key art and the one being used in gameplay videos for CODE VEIN. He passed away, but was resurrected as a Revenant. Karen's job is to support Revenants in battle and to take care of them. Cruz, on the other hand, has become a force of destruction after going through horrific unsuccessful experiments that were meant to help her save mankind.

CODE VEIN is set to launch sometime in 2018.

We don't have them yet, but we'll publish a story as soon as we pick up the CODE VEIN trophies.
