Star Wars Battlefront II
launched with much anticipation. Unfortunately, the controversy that followed tainted the launch of the game and left a sour taste in gamers’ mouths. The developer has gone to great lengths to improve that tarnished image. Today marked another announcement with the intent to launch new content and changes to the game.
The first change to the game is a revamped progression system. This is largely the result of player feedback. While there aren’t any details being released right now, much more information is expected in March.
A new game mode called Jetpack Cargo will be coming in February. Two teams of eight equipped with jet packs will fight in a fast, frantic fighting mode. It is expected to be only available for a limited time, so play it while you can.
A new Season is also coming up. The developer learned a lot from the first season and is planning on instilling the lessons learned into the new Season. There aren’t any actual details now other than the plan for a new Season, but as soon as we know, so will you!
The upcoming content should start to launch in February.
