Assassin’s Creed Rogue Remastered Announced

Yesterday we already had huge remaster news with the Dark Souls: Remastered announcement. However, Dark Souls will have to share the remastered spotlight with Assassin's Creed Rogue Remastered, which has also been announced.

Despite positive reviews, Assassin's Creed Rogue never quite reached as wide of an audience as the other games, probably due to its 2014 release date late into the PS3's lifespan. The game sees Shay Patrick Cormac switch sides from the Brotherhood to the Templars and begin to hunt down his former comrades. The remastered edition also includes the base game and two bonus missions from the original game, "The Armor of Sir Gunn Quest" and "The Siege of Fort de Sable." In addition, Assassin's Creed Rogue Remastered includes the "Master Templar" and "Explorer" packs, which offer weapons and customization items, including Bayek’s legacy outfit from Assassin's Creed Origins.

Rogue will have "higher resolution, improved environment rendering, visual effects and textures" than the original version; it will be available in 4K on the PS4 Pro and 1080p on the standard PS4.

Assassin's Creed Rogue Remastered launches on March 20th.
