Metal Gear Survive Single Player Trailer Released

By Kelly Packard, 11 months ago
Metal Gear Survive has been controversial among fans since its Gamescom 2017 announcement. A departure from the gameplay for which the series is known, Survive's story picks up where Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes ended. Following on from an earlier commentary video about the game's single-player campaign, Konami has released a six-minute trailer for the mode.

As Konami has previously mentioned, Survive takes place in an "alternate timeline caused by unexplained wormholes forming in the sky." The game follows a Mother Base soldier through a hostile environment with biologically mutated creatures, and features base building.

Metal Gear Survive launches on February 20th in North America and February 22nd in Europe. Not to be forgotten, players can test out the game's co-op before release in a beta that runs from January 18th-21st.
