de Blob 2 Announced for Current Gen

By Kelly Packard, 2 months ago
Toward the end of 2017, Xbox and PlayStation gamers were able to experience a re-release of de Blob, which originally launched as a Wii exclusive in 2008. Publisher THQ Nordic has now announced the sequel, de Blob 2, will be joining its predecessor on current-gen consoles.

de Blob 2 (PS3) first launched as a multiplatform title in 2011. The series' protagonist and title character de Blob was once again called upon to save a city from having all its color wiped out by the evil Comrade Black. Instead of Chroma City, players found themselves in Prisma City this time around. de Blob 2 featured 12 levels, two-player splitscreen, new power-ups and bosses, and more.

de Blob 2 launches for PS4 on February 27th. No pricing was available, but the PS4 version of de Blob retails for US$19.99.
