Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection Announced

Street Fighter has a lot of history. Capcom has announced it will be honoring 30 years of the fighting game series with the Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection.

The collection includes the following Street Fighter games plus extra goodies:

Street Fighter
Street Fighter II
Street Fighter II: Champion Edition
Street Fighter II: Hyper Fighting
Super Street Fighter II
Super Street Fighter II: Turbo
Street Fighter Alpha
Street Fighter Alpha 2
Street Fighter Alpha 3
Street Fighter III
Street Fighter III: 2nd Impact
Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike

Of the above, Street Fighter II: Hyper Fighting, Super Street Fighter II: Turbo, Street Fighter Alpha 3, and Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike will be playable online. Capcom promises leaderboards and low-latency gameplay for each online experience.

Players can also take a walk through the Street Fighter Museum, "a collection of stunning concept art, pitch documents, and little-known facts behind each game’s release." There is also an interactive timeline that shows the evolution of Street Fighter throughout its 30 years. Music pieces can be heard individually from the game's music player. There are character bios where characters' backgrounds, stories, and personal traits are cataloged. In the single player modes, there are also save states so players can walk away and resume at any time.

Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection

Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection will launch for Playstation 4 in May 2018 for US$39.99.
