Prison Break Drama A Way Out Releases in March

By Mark Delaney,
The always animated Josef Fares, creator of Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons and the upcoming prison breakout co-op drama A Way Out, took to the stage once again, this time at The Game Awards, to show off more of the fugitives. When it was revealed at E3, Fares drove home the point that the game must be played in co-op. It's not recommended; it's mandatory.

Fortunately, Fares revealed a consumer-friendly practice for the game. When A Way Out releases digitally in 2018, buyers will be able to invite friends into the game even if they have not bought it. They can play it in its entirety for free. This all but guarantees you'll have your co-op buddy ready to go. If you need to see more of the game before you invest in it, you can check out the newly released gameplay trailer below.

A firm release date was also revealed at The Game Awards. You can start planning your escape, and decide who between you and your partner will make the purchase, ahead of A Way Out's March 23rd release.
