The developer of upcoming multiplayer bounty hunter title
Hunt: Showdown has released a few new videos showcasing the game. Announced at
this year's E3, the game from Crytek is actually a reworking of a previously in development title
Hunt: Horrors of the Gilded Age. Instead of a co-op game, though, it's now a full on PvP experience as teams of players fight to take down demons and claim their bounties.
The first video highlights the rich soundscape the developer is creating to nail the horrific atmosphere of the title, as well as utilising player communication in a unique way. Instead of coming through its own channel, the voices of your team mates will actually be located within the world itself so if your buddy runs to the other side of the map, you may have a hard time hearing them and planning your next steps.
The next two videos are streams that the developer did for the recent Extra Life event where they play and talk us through the game for over four hours while taking donations for the charity.
Hunt: Showdown is entering a closed alpha on PC soon. Although additional platforms have yet to be confirmed, a console release is expected following the full PC launch.
