Over The Moon Announces Delay For The Fall Part 2: Unbound

By Andy Mills,
Developer Over The Moon Games has announced that The Fall Part 2: Unbound, the second game in a planned trilogy, will unfortunately be delayed for a few months.

The Fall Part 2: Unbound (2)

What's a little different about this delay is the reason for it. While the game itself is essentially feature complete, they've taken the decision to delay The Fall Part 2: Unbound as launching at any point in the next few months would be "suicidal" for an indie game. When you see that there's Call of Duty: WWII, Star Wars Battlefront II, Assassin's Creed Origins and Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus amongst others, it is hard to argue with the reasoning, even if it does suck for those looking forward to the game. John (presumably John Warner, CEO of Over The Moon) explains the delay in a little more detail in the video below, which also doubles as a gameplay preview.

Over The Moon now plans to launch The Fall Part 2: Unbound in February 2018, using the extra time they now have to add a little further polish.
