Playstation Plus Titles for August 2017

By Rebecca Smith,
In just a few short days, we enter the month of August. The first day of the month happens to be a Tuesday, so this means that we'll be getting the brand new Playstation Plus titles on August 1st. With the Cross-buy function, PS4 players will be getting three titles this month whereas PS3 and Vita players will be getting two apiece. Here's the lineup:

Playstation 4

Playstation 3

Playstation Vita

As well as the above new titles, PlayLink title That's You! will continue to be free for a second month as a bonus title, so if you haven't grabbed it by the end of July then there's no need to fret. Meanwhile, you do only have three more days to pick up the following titles, so don't delay anymore!

August is a month that keeps on giving. Playstation Plus players can also continue to download the free "OMD!U Plus Pack" for Orcs Must Die! Unchained. The pack contains character skins, a guardian, potions, scrolls, skulls, gold and a seven day battle pass. The pack will be available to download until August 14th.

Unfortunately, the end of August brings some bad news for players who live in regions covered by Sony Entertainment Europe. From 00:01 BST August 31st, 2017, the price of a Playstation Plus subscription will be increased to match the recent increase seen by players in North America. The prices will increase as follows:

- Annually, the price will change from £39.99 to £49.99 per annum.
- Quarterly, the price will change from £14.99 to £19.99 per quarter.
- Monthly, the price will change from £5.99 to £6.99 per month.
All current PS+ members will see their renewal fees increase from August 31st. If you no longer wish to keep paying for PS+ then you you need to "turn off “auto-renew” in your account settings at least 48 hours before your next payment on or after 31 August 2017 is due".
