Project CARS 2 Livestream Shows Extended Gameplay

By NexusGrunt,
is only a couple of months away from release and while we have seen gameplay footage in trailers, we've never really seen the game as it will be played. The latest livestream video from Bandai Namco rectifies this as the show airs some real time gameplay live from the studio, giving players the clearest glimpse of the game yet.

Project CARS 2 - Rallycross announcement

In the extended video clip, we get to see the new McLaren 720S in action racing on the fictional, but still challenging, Bannochbrae circuit in Scotland. Importantly, this is not edited footage, it is played live and shows the game as it is; there is plenty of footage as two of the presentation team race two laps of the circuit each. Keen fans might want to pay special attention to the footage as the devil is in the details. Along with the circuit racing, the stream also shows off live gameplay for the Rallycross racing that has been added to the new title. It certainly looks good, but can it compete with some of the more dedicated rallying titles?

Admittedly, the presentation might not be to everyone's liking and the standard of driving with the controller might not have been the most inspiring either, but it is nice to have such an extended look at the real gameplay from the new game.

Project CARS 2 will be heading to the Playstation 4 on September 22nd.
