Latest Detroit: Become Human E3 Trailer Reveals Markus

By Brandon Fusco,
One of the biggest parts of this year's Sony E3 2017 Showcase was a rather lengthy trailer for the upcoming Detroit: Become Human. At nearly six minutes, the video goes a long way to introducing the game's third and final playable character, Markus, as well as establishing the tensions rising in the titular city.

Our new android protagonist Markus will be played by Civil Rights Activist and award-winning TV star Jesse Williams. Markus escaped his master and joined an underground, where they struggle to find ways to show humans that they are not defective, but alive.

In the new scene we’ve revealed at E3, Markus executes a covert operation during a cold Detroit night, with the aim of freeing androids that are for sale in a store. If he succeeds, Markus will have the opportunity to send a strong message to humans.

After the showcase, a live gameplay demo was given and David Cage stopped by to give some insight into the development and themes of Detroit: Become Human.

Unfortunately, despite how lengthy and polished the trailer is, we are still without a release date for Detroit: Become Human, which will eventually be coming to PlayStation 4. Those with a PS4 Pro and appropriate TV will be able to play the game with Dynamic 4K and HDR.

We've got the full list of Detroit: Become Human trophies - check the list for guides to unlocking them.
