Mech Shooter Archangel Announced For PlayStation VR

By Greg Benham,
From Mobile Suit Gundam to Pacific Rim, and numerous video games down the years (Mech Commander, Zone of the Enders HD Collection and the Metal Gear series, to name but a few) many of us have dreamed about piloting and fighting our own mech at some point. Now, though, PlayStation VR users can come closer to that experience than ever with the announcement of the upcoming Archangel.

Games developed by Skydance Interactive, developer of the game, went into detail about what you can expect to experience:

In Archangel, you’ll discover that you’ve been selected by the United States Free Forces, the resistance, to pilot a one-of-a-kind weapon: a six-story high war machine built to destroy. You’re dropped into the cockpit of a giant mech to lead your squadron into battle against HUMNX, a private conglomerate that governs what little is left of a ravaged America.

Grab the controls and watch as your own two massive mech hands surge to life! Fire at will on your enemies with an incredible array of high-powered weapons, or punch a plane from the sky with one hand while machine-gunning a hovercopter with the other — all without breaking a sweat.
Archangel will officially launch in July for an exclusive two-week window on PlayStation VR.

We've got the full list of Archangel trophies - check the list for guides to unlocking them.
