Overwatch Lunar Colony Update & Preview

Last week, Overwatch: Origins Edition celebrated it’s one year anniversary, featuring new skins, maps and loot boxes. Seems like Blizzard Entertainment wants to build off last weekend by giving gamers a preview (in the form of two videos) of their upcoming assault map, Horizon Lunar Colony.

In this trailer, we get a developer update from game director, Jeff Kaplan. Kaplan begins to explain Horizon Lunar Colony and the connection it has with Winston. Fans of Overwatch, know Winston’s connection to the moon and its significance to the character. Throughout the video, Kaplan covers the Assault Map, Low Gravity Mechanic and much more. Check out the video below.

If developers chatting about the update doesn’t appeal to you, maybe a trailer showcasing the map is more your taste. In the video, Winston connects the dotted lines on his childhood home while giving an inside look on Horizon Lunar Colony. In doing so, he also gives more details on how and why he left his home planet and came to earth. Winston, take it away.
