Mages of Mystralia Launch Trailer

Borealys Games has shared a launch trailer for their upcoming adventure game Mages of Mystralia, written by Forgotten Realms' author Ed Greenwood, prior to its release on Steam next week.

While many games cast players as mages, few challenge players' creativity in quite the way that Mages of Mystralia does. Players must collect runes as they progress through the game, and then design their own spells by combining runes before they can use their spells to fight enemies, solve puzzles and save Mystralia. There are no pre-made spells in the game, so it is up to the player to make good use of various runes that can add behaviours to spells, modify those behaviours and even apply conditional rules to combine multiples spells into megaspells.

A PlayStation 4 release date for Mages of Mystralia has not yet been confirmed.
