Oh...Sir! The Insult Simulator Announced

The latest project from indie studio Vile Monarch, Oh...Sir! The Insult Simulator seems to be a game aimed at people who were constantly saying "your mum" back in middle school. The game started life as the product of a game jam before becoming a side project for the Polish-based studio. It quickly grew to be more popular than their main project, Crush Your Enemies. Not bad for a game that was born out of the Monty Python quote, "the parrot is no more."

The game will consist of chaining together insult fragments at your opponent to create the funniest insults, whether this is against an AI, an online opponent or the guy standing next to you. There's no word yet on whether avoiding getting punched in the face awards bonus points.

The creative director, Kacper Kwiatkowski, says "The idea behind Oh…Sir! was to take the 'This parrot is no more' topic apart, find the funniest associations with it, and turn them into game mechanics." This game seems like an interesting and enjoyable way to do that. At any rate, Oh...Sir! The Insult Simulator will launch in Spring 2017 on PlayStation 4.
