Jackbox Games has been making players chuckle, or even guffaw uproariously, since the 1990s. While the company started out with the trivia title You Don't Know Jack, they later branched out into party games of various shapes and sizes being released as compilations in the form of The Jackbox Party Pack, with the occasional standalone release like Fibbage, Quiplash or Drawful 2.
Jackbox has announced the next installment of the series is already in the works in the form of The Jackbox Party Pack 4. While we don't have the complete lowdown on the mini games yet, they've already announced one will be the third version of Fibbage.
A work-in-progress image of Fibbage 3 has been released. Game Director Ryan DiGiorgi explains why there are now ten choices instead of nine:
Especially eagle-eyed fans might notice that there are 10 choices in that screenshot, rather than the traditional max of nine. That’s because this time around, the audience gets to join the fun by voting on their own decoy lies, and guessing the truth along with the players. Now, fooling the audience can really boost your score, so make sure to get as many gullible people as possible to join!
The Jackbox Party Pack 4 is releasing this fall. The platforms have yet to be announced.
