Rocket League Teams Up With The Fate of The Furious

By Ashley Woodcock,
Psyonix has put together a pretty cool partnership with Universal Pictures and Dodge to bring the mass amount of Rocket League players new DLC based on the upcoming The Fate of the Furious film.

The Fate of the Furious DLC

The DLC will include a new Premium Battle-Car — the sexy-looking and tough-as-nails Ice Charger that is inspired by the Dodge Charger driven by Dom Toretto from the film, as many Fast & Furious fans will know. The "Fate of the Furious" DLC will also include Ice Charger premium wheels and six premium decals: Clean Cut, Crazy Sandwich, Flames, Rakugaki, Rally, and CCCXL. The Ice Charger will also be fully customizable, too.

Patch v1.32 was also released last week and brought with it a range of bug fixes and general changes:

  • Fixed the double Boost spawn on Beckwith Park (Night)
  • The ball height indicator/decal will now correctly appear on the Blue team’s half of Arena Core 707
  • Optimized Dropshot dedicated server performance to reduce problems reported since our last update. This benefits all game modes as any server sharing resources with a Dropshot match was affected
  • Fixed an issue with player spawn position in Steam Workshop maps
  • Players who enter Training directly from the end game screen will no longer prevent their party leader from searching for another match.
  • Fixed an issue that allowed Party Leaders to search for a new match while already in a lobby if a new player joined the party.
  • Map-specific Loading Screens have temporarily been disabled while we investigate game stability issues introduced in the Dropshot update.
  • Additional performance improvements to Aquadome
The patch is already live and the new DLC will be releasing on April 4th for US$1.99 or your regional equivalent.
