Mafia III Faster, Baby! Launch Trailer, Demo Available Today

By Ashley Woodcock,
If you've been waiting to complete Mafia III again, then today is the day you can begin to do so. It's time to take on the role of the game's huge main man, Lincoln Clay, and head out to Sinclair Parish in the "Faster, Baby!" DLC.

Mafia III 3

Lincoln will be working with sister-in-arms Roxy Laveau to deal with a fearful and violent threat residing in Sinclair Parish, a rural town west of the Bayou. Sheriff "Slim" Beaumont will be the bad guy in this corrupt town that has recently seen its Civil Rights leader murdered. The DLC will be full of fast car chases, "explosive new military-grade combat tactics", and more dodgy operations as you and Roxy do what you must to stop the Sheriff and his corrupt department.

A demo for Mafia III is also available to check out. Players can download the 25GB demo and play through the opening act, which focuses on a bank heist that slowly sets the stage for the main part of the game's story. Players will learn about Lincoln's history with the deadly mafia and what sparked his mission for revenge against the Italian Mob.

Take a look at the demo trailer but be warned that it does contain spoilers. I'm sure that most players would agree that the story-telling and cut scenes are very impressive, emotional and strong and would probably be best experienced while actually playing the game.

The "Faster, Baby!" DLC in Mafia III is available right now and free to those who own the Season Pass for the game, or it can be purchased by itself for £11.99 or your regional equivalent.

The demo is available to check out for free and keep in mind that your progress will be carried over to the full game if you decide to make a purchase. If you do decide to buy the title, you can do so from now until April 17th with 50% off the original price digitally or at participating retailers.

We've got the full list of Mafia III: Definitive Edition trophies - check the list for guides to unlocking them.
