The first batch of post-launch content for Sniper Elite 4
is scheduled to arrive on Tuesday. As was previewed in the earlier reveal
of the season pass content, there are two DLCs arriving at once.
One is "Deathstorm Part 1: Inception," the first chapter in a three-segment "mini-campaign." The mini-campaign offers a new story experience that can be played in single player or two-player co-op. "Inception" takes players to a Nazi naval base in the chilly northern Italy.
With imposing scaffolding, a German destroyer and myriad Kriegsmarine soldiers to negotiate, Karl Fairburne must help finish what the bombing run started. But his primary mission concerns the secret Manhattan Project: To retrieve a critical, mysterious package codenamed Deathstorm...
Arriving on the same date of March 21st is the "Night Fighter Expansion Pack" for multiplayer. This one includes "three new weapons, night-time camo rifle skins for eight weapons and new male and female characters skins."
Both "Deathstorm Part 1: Inception" and the "Night Fighter Expansion Pack" are included with the season pass.
There will also be some promised free content for everyone arriving on the same day in the form of a brand new map and mode. The new mode is Elimination, a rendition of tag-team Deathmatch. If one of your teammates gets taken out, you'll have to eliminate another player to bring them back into the game, until the enemy — or your team — are whittled down to nothing.
The new map is called Night Woods, which you can check out in the screenshot below:
It's all arriving in the huge content drop scheduled for Tuesday, March 21st. To see what else Rebellion plans to add to Sniper Elite 4
