Three weeks ago, Sony revealed that they were ending their Playstation Now service on Playstation 3, Playstation Vita, all Sony Bravia TV models, all Sony Blu-ray player models and all Samsung TV models. If you missed that announcement, you can check out the details here
. The aim of this decision was to allow them to focus on developing the service for Playstation 4 and Windows PC users. It appears that this wasn't the usual corporate bluff as Brian Dunn, Playstation Now's Senior Marketing Manager, revealed the next step for the service.
At this point, players can stream nearly 500 Playstation 3 titles to their chosen device. Soon, players will also be able to stream Playstation 4 titles and these will be included within "a single PS Now subscription". More information will be revealed on this in the future, hopefully including some of the PS4 titles that will kick off the service.
For now, current and active PS Now subscribers should keep an eye on their e-mail inbox. Within the next few weeks, Sony will be starting a private test that will allow a select group of people to try out the new PS4 service. If you're lucky, you'll find an invitation in your inbox!
