Paladins Gets Its First Double XP Event on Consoles

Hi-Rez Studios' Paladins has been in closed alpha on consoles since December, open to a small band of invited players. Unfortunately, since the developers have been busy nailing down the basics before they can get to the fun stuff, the console versions have been missing out on all the weekend events.

But not anymore! Finally, a Double XP event has been announced, and in the fine print are the words for which console players have been waiting: "Earn 2x Account XP and Champion Mastery on PC and Console!"

As stated, the event includes XP to level up your account and also champion XP to level up the various characters. The exact start and end times aren't given, but the Double XP begins on Friday, March 10th and ends on Sunday, March 12th.

If you missed it, Inara, the newest Frontliner, was also recently revealed. However, it may be some time before she hits consoles, with those version being quite a bit behind the PC version.
