REAL STEEL to be Discontinued This September

It turns out I had read the dates wrong. The game's services will not be being discontinued on September 2nd, 2017. Instead, the title had actually been delisted on February 9th.

The confusion came with the tweet being posted on February 14th to say that their game "will be discontinued on 2/9/2017" (February 9th). My apologies for the incorrect information and thank you to those of you who brought this to our attention.

ReZERO Starting Life in Another World The Prophecy of the Throne Asianel Steel, a PlayStation 3 title released in October 2011 by developer Yuke's, will see its online services discontinued later this year. Announced via the game's official Twitter, the team thanked those who have supported the game alongside the confirmation of the game being discontinued:

REAL STEEL includes many cool features, such as fatality moves, unique K.O's and more.

With this, five of the game's 12 trophies will become unobtainable as these are obtained via the game's online game modes:

The First Online Win trophy in REAL STEEL worth 33 pointsWin 1 ONLINE RANKED MATCH.

The 10 Online Wins trophy in REAL STEEL worth 52 pointsWin 10 ONLINE RANKED MATCHES.

The 50 Online Wins trophy in REAL STEEL worth 73 pointsWin 50 ONLINE RANKED MATCHES.

The 100 Online Wins trophy in REAL STEEL worth 77 pointsWin 100 ONLINE RANKED MATCHES.

The Big Money trophy in REAL STEEL worth 337 pointsWin an ONLINE RANKED MATCH against a robot with TBR x2 or higher than you to earn a huge prize.

If you've yet to complete the game or you're interested in unlocking these online trophies before it is too late, you've still got plenty of time to do so as the services will be discontinued on September 2nd, 2017.
