Players have eagerly been awaiting SMITE's Season 4 since it was first previewed over a month ago. While PC has been enjoying it for awhile now, the console version experienced an unfortunate delay and it had to be pushed back from its original release window. Today developer Hi-Rez Studios has announced the wait is almost over and console players will be able to dive into Season 4 starting Monday.
We've already detailed the majority of the patch notes and new features here, so be sure to check that out if you're looking for a detailed rundown. There have also been a few console-specific changes that were announced in the meantime:
- Spectate mode is turning back on for Xbox
- A game breaking issue with the Berserker Ullr skin has been fixed.
- The game will no longer crash 20 minutes into a match when using this skin.
- The camera will now lock when Ulting with The Morrigan.
- Kali will be turned back on in a hotfix for 4.1
*Kali will not be on in live Monday 2/13. This hotfix could occur as early as Wednesday 2/15.
The full patch log from Hi-Rez can be found here. Before diving into Season 4 when it goes live on Monday, February 13th, remember you can enjoy a Double Everything Weekend in the meantime.
