Pro Evolution Soccer 2017: Trial Edition and Data Pack 2.0 Trailers and Screens

A major update have been released for , bringing new stadia and strips and a variety of visual improvements to the popular sports game. Before we go into that, we have details of an incoming Trial Edition.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2017: Trial Edition is a free download on Playstation 4 and Playstation 3 that allows players to access key game content such as Skills Training and participate in online competition via the PES League mode. Matches are played in recreations of Camp Nou and Neu Sonne Arena with a roster of nine teams from both club and national levels including:
  • FC Barcelona
  • Arsenal FC
  • Club Atlético de Madrid
  • Boca Juniors
  • Club Atlético River Plate
  • Sport Club Corinthians Paulista
  • Clube de Regatas do Flamengo
  • Germany
  • France

Once players have registered on the official PES League website, their match results in the Pro Evolution Soccer 2017 PES League mode will be used to calculate their PES League rankings. Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has just been named as an official ambassador for PES League, and details of the 2016/17 competition will be announced early in December.

The "Data Pack 2.0" update for Pro Evolution Soccer 2017 is free for both PS4 and PS3 consoles, although some of the content is only available on current gen. The update adds recreations of three new stadia to the game on PS4 only:
  • Anfield (Liverpool FC)
  • Signal Iduna Park (Borussia Dortmund)
  • Allianz Parque (Palmeiras)
Anfield and Signal Iduna Park come complete with bespoke crowd anthems "You’ll Never Walk Alone" and "Heja BVB".

"Data Pack 2.0" brings visual improvements to over 100 player likenesses on all versions of Pro Evolution Soccer 2017. Thumbnail images in tactical screens have been updated to reflect the changes in player appearances.

Other "Data Pack 2.0" changes to Pro Evolution Soccer 2017 for all platforms include
  • Minor bug fixes
  • Addition of Liverpool FC classic kits
  • Updates to strips of 16 clubs
  • Addition of 11 new models of boot

Pro Evolution Soccer 2017: Trial Edition will be available in North America on November 28th. Unfortunately, Europe has to wait until December to get their hands on the trial. The "Data Pack 2.0" update is out now on both PS4 and PS3.
