Battlezone Patch 1.02 Releases On Nov. 10th With PS Pro Support

By Jon,
PlayStation VR launch title Battlezone has only been out for a month but developer Rebellion has listened to the fans and is making some swift changes to the VR tank title. Getting ready for the imminent launch of the PlayStation Pro and support for 4k resolution are only the start of the patch notes:

BATTLEZONE 1.02 Patch Notes

Added PS4 Pro support

- Increased super-sampling resolution
- Improved dynamic lighting in the Cobra cockpit
- Increased reflective lighting resolution

Balancing changes

- Defend and Convoy missions are more balanced
- Difficulty randomisation more even throughout campaign
- Enemy rank scaling more balanced throughout campaign

Bug, performance fixes and other changes

- Improved clarity of particle effects
- Fixed a rare framerate hitch during hangar sequence
- Fixed rare physics issue that caused players to leave game world

Battlezone already looks great in VR; 4k resolution support will make it look like the tank game that every kid wanted way back on the Atari. Patch 1.02 will be available on Nov. 10th to coincide with the launch of the PlayStation Pro. Finally, Rebellion also announced more post-launch support with upcoming free DLC. We'll let you know once we have more information.

We've got the full list of Battlezone trophies - check the list for guides to unlocking them.
