Problems with gamingPermalink
Recently a lot of game companies have been making serious missteps for example CAPCOM, the fans want a Dino Crisis Remake/Reboot but instead we get a Multiplayer Dino shooter that no one asked for, staying with CAPCOM fans would love remakes or a new game in the RE:Outbreak series instead we got Resistance which failed and is probably the reason RE3 remake seemed to have so much missing, and the less said about Re:Verse the better.

Sony are guilty of it to with one of the main reasons for their buying Bungie is so they can help Sony with Live-Service Games.
Live service games don't really work for every 10 live service games only 1 of them will be any good if were lucky, the ideas on paper may seem good but in practice are just bad, Avengers is a prime example of this.

Square Enix and Konami have both been making serious bad decisions, the only Difference is SE seem to be able to release a few great games for every bad one while Konami have just been bad for a while.

I know a lot of people are getting fed up with all the remakes and remasters coming to the current gen, I personally don't have an issue with it, what i have an issue with is the choices of games that companies have chosen to remake/remaster.
The Following is a List of games i think should get the Remake/Remaster treatment but aren't:
Vagrant Story (remake)
Parasite Eve 1 & 2 (Remake)
Resident Evil Code Veronica (Remake)
Metal Gear (Remake)
Metal Gear 2:Solid Snake (Remake)
Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops (Remaster)
Galerians (remake)
Assassin's Creed (Remaster)
Assassin's Creed Bloodlines (Remaster)
Uncharted: Golden Abyss (Remaster)
Ghosthunter (Remake)
The Suffering 1 & 2 (Remakes)

Games that don't need Remakes

LumberHyperion Resident Evil 3 felt like they wanted to put too much effort into Resistance, when they should have focused on the main game and then worked on the Multiplayer, hence it feels so bare bones, as for the Metal Gear games getting remasters i'd love that tbh, the two MSX2 games would play well from a top down perspective with full voice acting, whilst Portable ops does need some attention, whilst its canonicity is heavily debated it wouldn't hurt to make it canon, especially as at it mentioned in Peace Walker.

Assassins Creed 1... i could say many bad things about that, but a remake would be better than a remaster, as i feel its too bare-bones as it is (And one of the most boring in the series because of it), Bloodlines again a remake would be better and include the original as an unlock.

As for Resident Evil 4, yeah whole heartedly agree them jumping Code Veronica is a bad idea, if it wasn't on the dream cast it would be labelled 4, in fact even Survivor from the PS1 would probably do better if remade in the RE engine, as long as it was a budget title.

Endar_of_NTA Don't think I can name one "Live Service Model" game that is better for being live service. Destiny would be top tier if it wasn't plagued with timed content and constant changes.

Speaking of CAPCOM.......WHERE IS DEAD RISING?!

I agree with Lumber, an Assassin's Creed 1 remake would be great!
