The last push or How I try to get my Lazy self to finish gamesPermalink
Alright title says it all but seriously how do you guys do it sometimes? Looking at my list of games I have started there are so many I am but a fraction of the way from 100% and I haven't finished them. Best example at the moment is Mirrors Edge Catalyst. I am only two trophies away from completion and while both are collectible types (ie: not my favorite kind) they are very doable.

Then why am I jumping to Ratchet and Clank or continuing the grind for Killzone or latley hopping back on Yakuza 0? My mind tells me its to avoid burnout. That its ok to take a break and come back later but this happens all to often for me. If I dont feel 100% invested in a game I feel less compelled to go back and platinum it. I think being on this site and seeing everyone else complete games helps and gives me that motivation to do so but I digress, what do you guys do to help motivate you to finish games? Is it normal to jump from one game to another and plan to comeback later? Anyway, back to the hunt for sweet sweet platinum! Tally Ho!

TowerThirteen Put it away for a while and come back later. Dragon Quest Heroes 2 for instance is probably a 150-200 hour plat. I got burned out when it first came out after about 75 hours. Now I've picked it back up after setting it aside for a year and really enjoying it and having fun.

Summer tends to be slow for new games so I usually focus on completing old stuff then.
