PermalinkBound by Backlog..
Sooo, I finished off Bound by Flame last night and really, really enjoyed my time playing the game until the end...laugh That end boss was a dirty stinking bitch but I nuked them after my 5th attempt...Basically, after I went further back into an older save and basically stockpiled pots for Mana and Heath. I also stocked up on bolts and some traps...I ran out of traps near the end of my battle so it was timed well.

Playing the last boss first time round with basically 6 health pots and ZERO mana pots was complete and utter suicide!!laughfacepalm I came close to defeating him though but I ran out of health and well his health was less than half less and my life was dripping out of my pores.

Now, the game is pretty wacky with the dialog..I had to enquire about a dead man's sex life...shock And there was rather a lot of 'sexual' banter in the game and some of the clothing choices for the women were questionable...Put it this way I had little to no idea about this game when I bought it except I liked the idea of an RPG and it's a bloody basic one at that. Still all the talk wasn't off putting it was just..well....If you've not played the game....I'll say it was strange. BUT I'm pretty sure there is far worse games out there than this one.

Besides this the level spike at the end was pretty unfair which was why I went into the boss battle so poorly. I really liked you could craft/buy stuff while you were out fighting so say if you ran out of buff pots and needed to create one but was missing some ingredient you could buy it from WITHIN your own backpack! It was very, very, very handy to have when you're half way across the world from your only ONE craftsman. Only thing I didn't do very well with was MONEY..Things were pretty expensive unless you sold super high valued items like the tainted gems. AND those were the type of gems you wanted to HOLD onto. Compared to other games I didn't think this system was so well thought out unless they really wanted you to farm...And I spent a little over 17hrs in the game...It's really NOT a big game nor is the world. It's a rather small RPG when it comes to RPGs and seriously that suited me fine but I believe the end would of been easier IF the game itself had of been longer so you were more powerful..I was only level 25.

Anyways enough about that game..

My title is what I want to do while gaming...At least I want to put more effort into not feeling so overwhelmed by my backlog. At one stage I did have it under control but now it's kinda getting out of control especially with the rate I play games these days. I did buy some games from the Playstation Sale from online and within actual stores. I mentioned in a status I wasn't going to because I bought a new phone and reality I was going to stick to that plan until a few things changed my mind BUT now I believe I don't want/need anymore games until next year...Might be a few floating around that I'll want but these days I'm always waiting for sales..Never buying at full price except for Harvest Moon...haha.

PermalinkWhen comments get stuck in your head..
My sister said something about my gaming habits and it's kinda stuck in my head...She's a person who'll only buy games when she wants to play whereas I'm a person who just buys and maybe plays the game 5 years later on. - That was the basic jist of what she said. For whatever reason this comment really stuck with me..lol It wasn't meant negatively or more to the point I didn't take it that way.

But we game completely differently - These are the points at hand.

1) She'll go and spend $99 on a release day game.
2) She doesn't play on a console (besides FF games).
3) She doesn't play as many different types of games.
4) She will spend hours playing a game.
5) She doesn't play for trophies/achievements.

1) I'll never go and buy a game at top price even IF I really want it...Just can't do it.
2) I play on a console and sometimes on the PC and various handhelds which naturally means more games.
3) I like to play all sorts of games even which usually means I'll be interested in way more games than she'll ever be.
4) I find it hard to play games during the day time (no idea why but I do). I also find it really hard these days to spend hours playing especially if it's during the day time. It's a habit I'm trying to break considering I currently have ALL the time in the world to play. laugh
5) While I don't tend to play for achievements/trophies I will sometimes, which extends a game in a completely different way. For someone who doesn't play for these things they'll never properly understand the difference.

Few more builds to make then photos incoming. clap

PermalinkFlying to the moon and back...
Really didn't think it'd come to April and I'm STILL having issues with my hand..But yesterday was my first time back with 2 times a day exercising and then from tomorrow back to the 3 times. The pain and tightness has come back...Seriously it bums me out at times. I feel like I'm making progress then I end up having to pop more pain medication. Last week was nice not doing a thing as my hand actually FELT a lot better and I didn't have any tightness in the middle of my wrist. I'm leaps and bounds better but I just want to be COMPLETELY better...haha

However, I've never really heard of anyone getting over a broken wrist quickly....While the break is perfectly healed it's the muscles that need to be reworked that keep causing me pain....I just got to keep telling myself, I am MUCH better than I was or the flexibility is really coming along well.

Why am I complaining about this in my blog yet again? Cause I can..laugh Actually, there is a reason.

I'm sick and tired of playing just GoW!! While I love the game and enjoy playing it every day it's not the same as shooting some heads off. It's not the same as running away from someone hot on your tail. I have been successful in playing a little bit of Harvest Moon and TWD:NF but those aren't exactly what I crave to play..While TWD is full of action and I loved this instalment it's JUST not the same as actually taking the pistol and shooting the bullets yourself!

Harvest Moon is proving to be a little tricky...I mean for my hand it's not painful..It's easy but some reason I'd love to complete all the trophies and I'm already experiencing a hiccup. I've now read guides for the PS4 version and various comments about the PS2 version. I'm hoping that the last bit of info I read about the PS2 game will be the bit I'm missing (can't do it in year 1). But to make matters worse there seems to be a few versions of this game floating around so I'm even more confused..lol

Been playing heaps and heaps of this game...IT is paying off....It's kind of a game if you drop for a while it's hard to catch up especially if you're trying to play PVP. I've noticed I started this game in April last year but I haven't been playing it every day since. But hanging around there enough I've met the local drunk (and they LOVE to brag about it...I find it a bit sad tbh and feel they need to seek help..but it could be they're just doing it for attention and not really drunk), I've had people try their hardest to get me to join their guilds and then SPAM me with messages when I decline which in turn makes them get narky, then I've met people who have their head so far up their arses I'm sure they can smell their stinky shit!

There is someone I know on there who LOVES to brag...And make himself seem AMAZING. And I've noticed when someone else HAS something go wrong or really good THEY always have to try and ONE UP it. I find it terribly irritating but sadly I can't block them (or be rid of them just yet).

Little earlier I popped some painkillers and thought I'd try out Homefront...Didn't go that brilliantly....I mean I stayed alive and game was good but my hand wanted no part in the playing angry Soooooooooooo, I'll try next week I guess and I pray for the best outcome. Vibrations of a controller doesn't help either..laugh I probably can shut that off though.

And to end this blog off I have a question..Should I post my Lego builds? I just finished Brick Bank which I ended up loving a lot more than I thought I would.

P.S. Drinking beer makes my tummy angry and in turn my head upset..So, I don't feel I'll be consuming or purchasing much beer this year...A hobby which is kinda good to get rid of...I mean I just like trying all different types of beer not getting like a slab of VB and just drinking that. No thanks. I've a stash of beer though so I'm very, very slowly working my way through the collection. I also was given a gift voucher to spend at a boutique beer shop..haha...But w/their prices I won't be getting much for $100.

P.P.S I'll go watch some violent movies on Netflix instead..I was getting through my collection of stuff to watch then I took a break..THEN they released all this stuff I wanted to watch XD

PermalinkHelp me pick two games to play!!
Over the last 2 weeks things have been a trial for me recovery wise BUT I'm on a 'weeks holiday'...laugh Basically, I did something to my hand which caused LOTS of pain but it might of helped with the recovery process down the track..shock

I had planned for THIS post to be full of pictures but that will have to wait until the next blog. I planned to talk about 'builds' n such, however, this is a MORE pressing matter.

As it turns out my order from Base.uk is taking FOREVER to arrive...Then I found out that the new Nier was still on BACK ORDER for close to a month cry Happily (or not) I could cancel it and I hadn't been charged..Woohoo.

So, that leaves me without Nier: Automata...Turns out this game in it's first month has sold over a million copies..Damn...And I'm happy cause the first Nier should of gotten the same amount of love.

Anyways, I found an online store that will sell N:A but I don't want to pay $5 for shipping for JUST that game. To make it worth it I need to purchase another game.

I have THREE choices (with some reasons)...
...So N:A + one of these games below...
1) Stardew Valley (collectors edition) - Wanted this game for a while and figured the disc based seemed better value for money. Plus it's the cheapest of all three (which is a good reason atm for me aka no job).
2) Mass Effect (new one) - I haven't played 2 and 3 but I'm told this doesn't matter. Also to wait until all the fixes come out.
3) Horizon Zero Dawn - Sorta thinking this will be better when I finally get a Sony Pro but no idea when that will happen since my TV is 4k already. I kinda want to play this to see what all the fuss is about.

Usually, I can make up my mind pretty easily with what to purchase but I've been mulling this over for 3 to 4 days and I'm still scratching my head. TBH if the shipping wasn't so expensive for ONE game I wouldn't be having this issue. But when you purchase 2 games the shipping stays the same price making it $2.50 each.

Gimme your thoughts my fellow TT friends! toast

On a totally different note I've been mulling over ideas on how to bank over 15mil of gold in GoW clap...It'll make the process somewhat quicker but it's still going to be slow as all heck getting there...facepalm
