Out of all the games to suck me in, I've been playing No Man's Sky for almost 30hrs the past week. Looks like third time's the charm
Gears on the level up
Fighting is very basic, you have punch, dodge, and a few special attacks that are basically used by holding down 2 buttons instead of one.
There are a few sidequests that normally revolve around fighting some monster or collecting ingredients from the land.

You unlock zones and when you do you can move freely between them from a central hub. Sidequests sometimes become available on zones you have previously visited.
Am i having fun? Yes i am. Although the combat is very basic the story is compelling me and its funny in parts.
If you decided to skip all the cutscenes the game could be very boring as your basically just fighting over and over again with a few fetch quests.
You can have the characters speaking in english instead of japanese which is great if like me you dont like reading subtitles.
Difficulty is on par with most "kids" games as you can just buy a ton of health potions and use them mid combat if your struggling.
Sounds just about right for a DBZ game. The others are just super repetitive fighters, this one looked like that, but with a better explanation of story.
Congrats :) Keep it up!
I seem to getting Notifications okay, including notifications related to your stream

I just looked and the last message in my inbox was from Jan 15. and someone did post a comment in reply to my comment on Jan 18. so I am missing notifications too?
I just got a Notification for your comment on my feed today Tiawyn
ok, I just checked and I see your notification under the bell icon Zen, but it is not in my inbox. so only notifications under the envelope icon go into your inbox?
Testing testing, 1 2 3, someone please reply to me!
I didnt get notifications to any of these. Last one i had was on the 16th Jan.
I got notified of your response. Not sure what's going on. :S
Ah yes i see them under the bell but they are not in my inbox same as what Tiawyn said.
Friend feed comments were meant to be under the bell, which is the new notification portion. TT just kept getting duplicates for a bit as things were being worked out.
Duplicates meaning in the inbox and in the bell menu.
I see. I didnt even know the bell was there until Tiawyn pointed it out Ive always used my inbox to see if there was new comments, force of habit i guess.
@naj, completed both rise of the ghosts and terrormania and theyre really not worth it. if you already like the main game and think its fun and want 100%, go for it
otherwise, nothing special.

fair, just got my copy of rage 2 today (late present), will see how i feel before i dedicate to dlc
To be fair i found Terrormania the worse of the 2. Your just swinging a sword around for hours while 100s of waves of skeletons come at you, i found it boring.
I keep track alot if fitness stuff and the keto diet and intermittent fasting definitely seem to be good bets for being fit and healthy
Some diets are good for weight loss but terrible for your overall health but keto seems good all round. Good to hear it is working for you!

I've actually never tried it keto as it is awkward for me stick to but I find intermittent fasting from time to time does wonders!
ive never understood diets. why not just eat less of what you normally eat?
@Ulven Eating less to me means low calorie which ive tried before and i just felt hungry all the time. with the keto diet i stay fuller for longer and never feel hungry.
I know this is off topic talking about diet on a gaming site but i thought it might help ppl who had to many christmas dinners like me get rid of a few extra pounds.
@Ulven - I am with you when it comes to diets in general. People try looking for a magic solution/foodplan when the real magic is as simple as "Eat less and move more!"
However, I would make an exception for 3 diets and 3 diets only! Those are Keto, intermittent fasting and elimination diets, as these all have a reason for doing
Keto - The keto diet is to cause a specific state in your body and while in that state as Liquid points out you don't feel hungry and have other benefits
Intermittent Fasting - This isn't really a diet given you can eat whatever you want, but restricting consumption hours improves clarity and energy during the day
Elimination diets - Again, these aren't really to lose weight but more to identify your food tolerances
@Liquid - there is such a thing as off-topic here? I talk the same on here as IRL, just so happens that it mostly about games
I'm the worst, people hate me xD Whilst I may not be healthy, I'm slim despite eating whatever I want lol, even rock some mild abs without having ever worked out.
You may not even be in be in ketosis yet btw. It has a weird weight loss due to eating less and snacking less etc. Can buy urine test sticks on amazon for a few £
