Mid Year Review
What a year! I hope you all are doing well and getting the most out of gaming. With everything going on in the world my gaming has actually suffered. Being essential I have actually been working more than I normally do, on top of that my wife hasn’t been working so when I’m home I’m mostly spending time with her and the kiddos. I still find time to fit in some gaming here and there.
My original plan for 2020 was to blow through all my Resident Evil games, with getting RE3 Remake this year it seemed like the perfect time to enjoy them all. With everything going on and still unsure if school will start back this year I had to change it up a bit. So in March I set myself some new end of year goals:
Complete Resident Evil 0 campaign
Complete Resident Evil campaign (Both Characters)
100% completion of Resident Evil 2
Complete Resident Evil 3 campaign and explore Raccoon City
Complete Resident Evil Code: Veronica X campaign
100% The Wolf Among Us
Complete Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 campaign
And play whatever else that I feel like playing...
The big question is how am I progressing along. As of today I have completed Resident Evil 0’s campaign, Resident Evil 3’s campaign, and 100% Resident Evil 2 with the exception of the DLC. I still have 2 survivors stages to complete and get the rest of the Mr. Raccoon’s. My ideal run for the rest of the year looks like this:
July: Resident Evil 2 complete and Jill’s run in Resident Evil.
August: Chris’s run in Resident Evil and start Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 campaign.
September: Complete CoD: MW2 campaign and get back into MediEvil.
October: 100% MediEvil and 100% The Wolf Among Us.
November: Complete Resident Evil Code: Veronica X.
If I’m able to achieve all of this along this timeline I will use the rest of the year to possibly work towards 100%ing another Resident Evil game or possibly CoD: MW2. Who knows, I might go ahead and start playing Resident Evil 4 or jump into one of the games I started carelessly during my 2019 Bean Dive.
Another consideration that I have for the month of October is possibly playing Until Dawn if I’m able to finish MediEvil and TWAU in a timely manner. Don’t ask me why but I just feel those three games need to be completed around Halloween time frame.
Some other games that I have been enjoying in between my planned gaming has been Double Dragon, Gran Turismo Sport, and Super Star Wars. All three are fun little time wasters. Not sure what else I might dabble in over the last half of the year.
I hope you all finish up the year strong and knock out every trophy you plan for.
