CAMPAIGN MODE

Instead of picking multiplayer, choose "War Stories" mode in the main menu. You have several stories and you'll need to complete 4 of them. There is an trophy for "The heist" as well, so let's start with this one. This mode confronts you with AI, which are not so bright. Take your time, don't take useless risks (even for secondary objectives). If you die, you need to start the chapter over, so preserve your health and use ammo / health pickups when you can. The objectives and paths are pretty straightforward, and you might get surprised / ambushed if you stray to far away from them. I suggest playing it as it is intended, by taking direct and obvious paths for more survivability.

For completing the first chapter of The heist, you will earn:

For completing all chapters, you will earn:

  • Payday

Complete The Heist War Story successfully.

    Payday
Discontinued - These trophies can no longer be obtained due to closed servers, a bad patch, or other unusual circumstances.

Completing a chapter of any story in a platoon will net you the following trophy (if you don't have a platoonmate, you can setup a session on TT):

After completing a story, you unlock the free mode. It basically allows you to play it again with any tank from your garage. The enemies will have similar tiers, so pick a tank that can sustain and deal damage to a massive amount of bot enemies (avoid artillery for instance). Do so for the next trophy:

Now complete all chapters of 3 other war stories for:

  • Story Master

Complete all chapters of four stories successfully.

    Story Master
Discontinued - These trophies can no longer be obtained due to closed servers, a bad patch, or other unusual circumstances.

When you have a Tank Tier X you can go to unlock this trophy:

PROGRESSION RELATED TROPHIES

As there are multiple trophies to possess 5 tanks or more, and you don't have enough slots in your garage, you will have to choose which nation you will work on first. I will put a certain order for the purposes of this guide, but choose your order freely. All tanks up to tier V can be researched fairly quickly, so I will start with easy trophies related to those low tier tanks.

EARLY GERMAN TREE

If you kill 4 opponents in any German tank, you will get the following trophy. It works with any type of German tank of any tier, so you will get it naturally at some point.

  • Der Rhine Time

Destroy 4 enemy tanks in a single match while using a German tank. MP Only.

    Der Rhine Time
Online Mode - These trophies require a connection to live services, such as PlayStation Network, for playing an online game mode, for sharing content, accessing leaderboards, or validating data with a server.Versus - These trophies can be obtained by two or more players in a face off gamemode who have met the trophy requirements.

EARLY BRITISH TREE

If you kill 4 opponents in any British tank, you will get the following trophy. It works with any type of British tank of any tier, so you will get it naturally at some point.

  • For Her Majesty

Destroy 4 enemy tanks in a single match while using a British tank. MP Only.

    For Her Majesty

EARLY AMERICAN TREE

If you kill 4 opponents in any American tank, you will get the 'Murica trophy. It works with any type of American tank of any tier, so you will get it naturally at some point.

  • Murica

Destroy 4 enemy tanks in a single match while using an American tank. MP only.

    Murica
Online Mode - These trophies require a connection to live services, such as PlayStation Network, for playing an online game mode, for sharing content, accessing leaderboards, or validating data with a server.Versus - These trophies can be obtained by two or more players in a face off gamemode who have met the trophy requirements.

EARLY SOVIET TREE

If you kill 4 opponents in any Soviet tank, you will get the following trophy. It works with any type of Soviet tank of any tier, so you will get it naturally at some point.

  • For Mother Russia

Destroy 4 enemy tanks in a single match while using a Soviet tank. MP Only.

    For Mother Russia
Online Mode - These trophies require a connection to live services, such as PlayStation Network, for playing an online game mode, for sharing content, accessing leaderboards, or validating data with a server.Versus - These trophies can be obtained by two or more players in a face off gamemode who have met the trophy requirements.

EARLY FRENCH TREE

If you kill 4 opponents in any American tank, you will get the 'Murica trophy. It works with any type of French tank of any tier, so you will get it naturally at some point.

  • Vive la France

Destroy 4 enemy tanks in a single multiplayer match while using a French tank.

    Vive la France
Online Mode - These trophies require a connection to live services, such as PlayStation Network, for playing an online game mode, for sharing content, accessing leaderboards, or validating data with a server.Versus - These trophies can be obtained by two or more players in a face off gamemode who have met the trophy requirements.

HIGHER TIER TO PURCHASE

Now we are getting into serious business. Those trophies will require you to obtain higher tier vehicles, which means longer grinds.

Continue any line that you started, buy new tank and continue to obtain XP. Once you have reached Tier V you unlocked the trophy:

And this as soon as the tier VII is researched.

You will need to research several tier X vehicles (one of each category, 5 in total), but focus only on 2 tanks at once. You can try more when you are confortable with the gameplay of those tanks, and take advantage of the x2 daily xp bonus.

HEAVY TANKS

The Soviet IS-7 line is fairly noob friendly and those tanks are efficient. Alternatively if you like the hulldown tactic you can go for the American T110E5. It's all rounded and there are no garbage tanks apart from the stock T29. The fully upgraded T29 is a hulldown beast, and probably one of the best tank tier for tier in the game.

TANK DESTROYERS

The German line going to the JpzE100 is excellent. I didn't enjoy the tier X itself, but you don't have to play it anyway. The tier IX Jagdtiger is slow, yet I still love it despite my hatred for slow tanks. The Soviet line leading to the Obj 268 is a solid alternative as well. Soviet guns pack a punch but are much less accurate.

MEDIUM TANKS

You can safely go for the Obj 140 or the T-62A if you like fast mediums with decent armor and excellent DPM. The E50M has a mediocre acceleration but better armor and sniping potential. Other mediums are much more difficult to play, apart from the M48 Patton but this tank is slightly underpowered currently. I love it, but be warned, the difficulty comes from the lack of DPM and armor.

LIGHT TANKS

I can't really recommend you a line since I only played light tanks before the light tanks update. Prior to the update, there were only lights tanks up to tier VIII. However, French light tanks are well performing and can safely act as passive scouts.

ARTILLERY PIECES

I recommend the American line, because the tier IX (the M53/55) is incredibly overpowered. The other artillery pieces are either decent or good, which makes the grind less tedious.

Now keep playing your favorite line ( AMERICAN - GERMAN - RUSSIAN ) until you research the tier X. It is time consuming, that's why choosing the correct tank line is crucial. You will be rewarded with:

Play with this tank until you get 10 wins for:

  • Ten by Ten

Win and survive ten battles in a tier X.

    Ten by Ten
Online Mode - These trophies require a connection to live services, such as PlayStation Network, for playing an online game mode, for sharing content, accessing leaderboards, or validating data with a server.Versus - These trophies can be obtained by two or more players in a face off gamemode who have met the trophy requirements.Cumulative + - These trophies are obtained by repeatedly performing the same action or set of actions over time.Level - These trophies can be obtained by leveling up in-game components.

Now, you probably have some of these following trophies, but not all. You will need to play 100 battles with each category of tanks.

For the light tanks:

For the medium tanks:

For the heavy tanks:

The first heavy tanks are at Tier IV, but they aren't very good. KV1 or T1 heavy are monsters when they are elited.

For the tank destroyers:

  • TD Captain

Play 100 matches as a tank destroyer. MP only.

    TD Captain
Online Mode - These trophies require a connection to live services, such as PlayStation Network, for playing an online game mode, for sharing content, accessing leaderboards, or validating data with a server.Versus - These trophies can be obtained by two or more players in a face off gamemode who have met the trophy requirements.Cumulative + - These trophies are obtained by repeatedly performing the same action or set of actions over time.Level - These trophies can be obtained by leveling up in-game components.Shop - These trophies can be obtained by purchasing an item or a series of items as prerequisites from a shop.

For the artillery:

As mentionned before, the ultimate grinding goal is to obtain a tier X from each class (light, medium, heavy, tank destroyer and artillery). You will most likely get it late, so don't fret if you feel you're not making much progress. Try to stop at elite tanks that you enjoy, earn some silver and free XP, and learn the game as much as you can instead of rushing tier X vehicles you don't understand yet. Use daily x2, operations, and premium time offered by Wargaming to make this slightly easier on your mental health.

CREW RELATED TROPHIES

If you have played a tank enough, you will be able to learn a perk or a skill. The system is fully explained in Hints and Tips Part I. When you have finished researching a perk, you will unlock the following trophy:

  • Chain of Command

Earn a total of 240,000 Commander XP across all owned Commanders.

    Chain of Command
Online Mode - These trophies require a connection to live services, such as PlayStation Network, for playing an online game mode, for sharing content, accessing leaderboards, or validating data with a server.Versus - These trophies can be obtained by two or more players in a face off gamemode who have met the trophy requirements.Level - These trophies can be obtained by leveling up in-game components.

The list of perks is as follows:

  • Brothers in Arms
  • Eagle Eye
  • Sixth Sense
  • Call for Vengeance
  • Preventative Maintenance
  • Deadeye
  • Designated Target
  • Safe Stowage
  • Adrenaline Rush
  • Intuition

Now, finish researching a skill to get this trophy:

The list of skills is as follows:

  • Repairs
  • Firefighting
  • Armorer
  • Controlled Impact
  • Off-Road Driving
  • Clutch Braking
  • Smooth Ride
  • Relaying
  • Signal Boosting
  • Situational Awareness
  • Recon
  • Jack of All Trades
  • Mentor
  • Camouflage

If you learn 5 of those perks / skills on the same tank, you will earn this:

You will earn the following trophy for reaching rank 8 and 10 with any crew. You will probably have them on your way to the tier X tank to research. To get a crew promotion, you only need to earn battle XP, so keep playing with the same crew and you'll get this in no time :

  • Veteran At The Helm

Destroy 3 or more enemy tanks in a match with an Elite Commander equipped and survive. MP only.

    Veteran At The Helm
Online Mode - These trophies require a connection to live services, such as PlayStation Network, for playing an online game mode, for sharing content, accessing leaderboards, or validating data with a server.Versus - These trophies can be obtained by two or more players in a face off gamemode who have met the trophy requirements.Level - These trophies can be obtained by leveling up in-game components.Time Consuming - These trophies require at least 20 hours of play time to obtain.

However, reaching rank 10 will be extremely long. It requires roughly 4 millions points of experience, with the same crew. You will have you first tier X long before this trophy. In order to speed this up, you can use premium time, and premium tanks if you have any. If not, get the x2 daily bonus and don't forget to accept all xp operations. By the way, for completing 8 operations (press cn_R1 in the garage to see and activate them), you will get:

My advice is to always have 3 operations activated at once (it's the maximum) and prioritize operations giving XP when you are playing with the tank leading to the tier X for the Absolute and Top shelf trophies. Try to match the requirement with the type of tank: for example, if the operation asks you to spot enemies, make sure you play with a light, a medium or alternatively with a Tank Destroyer equipped with Binoculars. If the operation asks to block damage, pick a heavy or any armored tank.

MISCELLANEOUS TROPHIES

Create a platoon with at least one friend (press cn_start in the garage to create a platoon and to send invites). If you and at least one other platoon mate survives, you will both get the trophies. My advice is to keep platooning and to play normally. Don't hide for the duration of the whole battle because you will deprive your team of a platoon and they have a crucial role on the battlefield. Make sure you are active and helpful and sooner than later you will have this easy trophy. I recommend you to create platoons whenever you can: the game is more enjoyable with friends, and you will rack up wins more easily (which means, more silver and more experience per battle).

  • Stand By Me

Survive and win a battle along with one or more platoon mates. MP only.

    Stand By Me
Online Mode - These trophies require a connection to live services, such as PlayStation Network, for playing an online game mode, for sharing content, accessing leaderboards, or validating data with a server.Versus - These trophies can be obtained by two or more players in a face off gamemode who have met the trophy requirements.

Still in a platoon, kill any opponent that is as well in a platoon. As simple as that. At the beginning of the battle, press cn_start to display the map and the tank list. If there is a number next to the icon of a tank, it means that this tank is in a platoon. So check the enemy tanks / gamertags that are in platoon and try to finish them off. This will come naturally if you play in platoon, don't go out of your way to get it. You should play tier V and above because lower tier battles won't have many platoons.

Have an ally kill your marked target within 30 seconds. Coordinating with your platoon will make this a piece of cake. Doing this solo is not much harder, just request assistance on a spotted enemy than is already losing health, or is a one shot kill. There's a high chance that he will die soon after. You can spam the command every few seconds by the way.

  • Call the Ball

Request Fire on a target and have it destroyed by an ally within 30 seconds. MP Only.

    Call the Ball
Online Mode - These trophies require a connection to live services, such as PlayStation Network, for playing an online game mode, for sharing content, accessing leaderboards, or validating data with a server.Versus - These trophies can be obtained by two or more players in a face off gamemode who have met the trophy requirements.Time/Date - These trophies require you to play the game or perform actions at certain times, within a time limit, or on specific dates.

The next trophy is linked to camouflage, but will take more time. You want to apply a camouflage pattern for each locale (summer, winter, desert, urban) on any tank or combination of tanks. Play some games, and you'll see that your tank will have his camouflage painted according to the map. For instance, a snowy map will use your winter pattern. You want to play until all camouflage locales are used, and for that I recommend using a tier V or higher tank. The reason is that lower tiers can't play on certain maps, which makes it harder (especially for winter and desert). Once you play at least once with each camo locales, you'll unlock:

You'll probably get the next trophy before you read this guide, but here it goes anyway. Select a tank you like (and plan to keep), press cn_S in the garage and select equipment. You have 3 slots that you can fill with various pieces of equipement for bonuses in combat. You will NEED a solid combination of equipment for mid and high tier tanks because they help tremendously in battle. There is an entire section dedicated to equipement in the hints and tips part I page, so read it again if need be.

Remember that higher tier vehicles equipement cost more, but they will need to be equipped properly if you want to perform well so don't be stingy! So equip 3 useful pieces of equipment and play a battle. The other approach is to select a tier 1, equip it 3 random equipment pieces WITHOUT the golden gear icon, play a game, go back to the garage with your trophy, and the sell the equipment pieces. If you picked pieces with the golden gear you will have to pay 10 gold if you want your siver back.

The next one is a bit of a pain. It requires you to play 5 ranked battles. It doesn't take that long, but ranked battles are not always available. They usually take place one week per month, and you will want to read the Official website, Forums, Facebook, Twitter, Reddit or directly ingame to check whenever they occur. Ratloach solution recommends you to stay in the battle even if you are destroyed, because apparently if you go back to the garage it won't work towards this trophy. I cannot confirm this, but better safe than sorry. You don't need to perform well or win those ranked battles, however they usually requires to play at a specific tier (from V to X).

MERCENARIES

You can accept a contract for a mercenary tank from your garage. Sereval tanks are available as I am writing this guide, and more will be added over time. You want any mercenary tank of tier V and higher for one of the trophies. I disliked the Stubbs, but I guess each to their own. I cannot confirm if higher tier mercenary contracts are harder than the Stubbs contract yet. However, since you will need 100 victories in a mercenary tank, pick a class that you are confortable with. There is also an trophy for winning battles in a platoon formed by mercenary tanks, so you can either pick the same as a friend, or set up a session on TT. The most important is to have similar tier vehicles.

All hints from the previous pages are applicable to mercenary tanks: equip them properly, give them a decent crew, and take your time to learn their unusual playstyle.

Once you have accepted the contract, you need to complete the objectives like a traditional operation, however you need to play in a specific tank or one of higher tier from the same line. There is a filter in the garage that actually shows you which tanks you own are compatible with the operation. Pick one, play some battles and complete the first stage of a mercenary operation for:

Keep going until you complete all stages of the operation, for the mercenary tank and an trophy. This is the longest part of this title update, as it requires you to earn massive amounts of xp, as well as playing with several different that you may not own (anymore). If they ask for XP, the most efficient is tier VIII. If they ask you to deal or receive damage, tier X is the way to go. For spotting, lower tiers works better.

Now play with that tank until you get a class 1 mastery badge (basically perform well in one individual battle)

Assuming that you chose a tier V or higher, if you earn the first mark of excellence (do more direct and assist damage over the last week than 65% of the player base) you will also obtain the next trophy. It should still take less than 100 battles, but if you struggle you can either load the gold (premium ammunition type that you can purchase with gold or lots of silver) or try to get more spotting damage.

Now create a platoon and make sure everyone has a mercenary tank, and win 5 battles. This may take a while depending on the quality of your teams.

Now you want to keep winning until you rack up 100 victories. You will earn 50 kills on your way

  • Career Killer

Destroy 50 enemies in Multiplayer with a mercenary tank.

    Career Killer
Online Mode - These trophies require a connection to live services, such as PlayStation Network, for playing an online game mode, for sharing content, accessing leaderboards, or validating data with a server.Versus - These trophies can be obtained by two or more players in a face off gamemode who have met the trophy requirements.Cumulative + - These trophies are obtained by repeatedly performing the same action or set of actions over time.

SKILL RELATED TROPHIES

You will get some of these trophies through natural play. It is very likely that some will elude you even after completing all progression related trophies. I will try to explain how to get them, but mastering all the information in the hints and tips pages will help you tremendously. There is NO particular order to get them. I suggest you farm the remaining trophies only after researching your tier X and all garage related trophies. If you farm an trophies and you obtain it after let's say 5 hours, and then in the next battle you do it naturally ... well don't blame this guide. My universal advice for all of them is: always prioritize the victory. If you go out of your way to get an trophy, you will probably end up failing it AND failing your team. Sorry to break the bad news, but they can prove to be quite difficult.

Let's start:

Killing 500 enemies will net you an trophy. Check your stats HERE

It will come naturally, so just follow the hints and tips part II to crush your opponents. However, I'll give advice for those who specifically need this trophy. You can either play in Tier I, since your opponents are Tier I and II only, it will be easy to kill them. Also, low tier players don't know the game so they don't even try to flank or take cover. I average 5 kills per a 5 minute match, so this method is fast and easy. However, it will not make you a better player or give you valuable XP for better tanks.

The other way is to play naturally with big gunned tanks, such as tank destroyers. The Nashorn, JagdPanther II, ISU152 and many other are hard hitters. For heavy and medium tanks it comes to personal taste but the T29, KV1-S, Tiger II, and E75 are overall good tanks. Both Pattons are worth the grind (Tier IX and X) because they are very mobile and have excellent guns. Pick any tank with a good penetration value and you should be good to go. The artillery is very inaccurate but it is also a great way to kill an opponent.

  • War

    Destroy 500 tanks. MP only.

    War
Online Mode - These trophies require a connection to live services, such as PlayStation Network, for playing an online game mode, for sharing content, accessing leaderboards, or validating data with a server.Versus - These trophies can be obtained by two or more players in a face off gamemode who have met the trophy requirements.Cumulative + - These trophies are obtained by repeatedly performing the same action or set of actions over time.

Now, kill 1000 enemies for this trophy (it will come earlier than expected, especially if you go for tier X vehicles):

This trophy will come naturally when you just play enough. But one tip is to have always some HE ammo for the situation when you can't do shit with a normal ammo. This happens often when you are playing with a light tanks against the heavy tanks. So then change to HE ammo and aim treads, so the enemy will be easy kill for other team members and you will get XP as well.

Sometimes the game throws you into Team destruction mode. In this case, there is no base to capture, it's only about killing enemies. The trophy will pop in this game mode providing you deal the most damage and survive the game. There is no way to know during the battle if you have outperformed your teammates, therefore you should focus on winning. You won't get enough damage if you stay too far away from the action, but there is no specific piece of advice I can give apart from the classic "go for the win". If you lose, you most likely won't survive. It's mostly about keeping your cool when you have a solid start, and patience because it wil take several tries. Don't worry, this game mode appears quite frequently and you'll get this naturally, long before obtaning all tier X vehicles.

Any efficient damage dealer is fine, such as Matilda, KV1, M4A3E2, T29, TIGER, ISU152 and so on. Tier IX and X are slightly harder since you'll compete with more talented teammates.

  • The Muscle

Cause the most damage in a winning Team Destruction match and survive. MP Only.

    The Muscle
Online Mode - These trophies require a connection to live services, such as PlayStation Network, for playing an online game mode, for sharing content, accessing leaderboards, or validating data with a server.Versus - These trophies can be obtained by two or more players in a face off gamemode who have met the trophy requirements.

If you kill all enemy light tanks (at least 3), you will get the Ranger medal as well as the trophy linked to it. You can do that at any tier, so if you need to farm that medal, play in low tier (tier I to tier III). You will have more lights, and at tier I it is quite frequent to have 7 VS 7 instead of 15 VS 15. This is really luck based in higher tiers, I have 1 Ranger medals in about 1.000 battles played. You certainly don't want to go out of your way to kill light tanks in high tier battles, so if you really want that medal, farm those poor newbies in tier I.

  • Ranger

Destroy all enemy light tanks during a match, must be 3 or more. MP only.

    Ranger

When enemies are capturing your base, you will have a notification. If you kill 2 of them while they are trying to capture your base, you will earn the following trophy. The best way to do it is to keep checking your mini-map. When you know that enemies are about to capture your base, fall back and defend it. This is easier if you have a fairly mobile tank such as a medium. Those enemies don't need to capture at the same time by the way. Make sure that if they are about to win by capturing, use HE shells and try to damage different tanks in order to reset their capture points. Also try to expose the minimum of your tank to allow no more than one enemy to retaliate.

The next trophy requires you to obtain the Defender medal 3 times in as many battles as necessary. For each of them, you need to reset 80 or more capture points in a single battle, by damaging enemy tanks capturing your base. The capture mechanics are explained in the "General hints and tips part II" page. Finish off one shot opponents first, and use HE shells if your enemy has a great armor that you can't guarantee to penetrate. As usual, check your mini-map constantly to anticipate enemy movement and be ready to defend the base before waiting for the notification.

  • Defender

Reduce the amount of enemy capture points on a friendly base by 70 or more, 3 times. MP only.

    Defender
Online Mode - These trophies require a connection to live services, such as PlayStation Network, for playing an online game mode, for sharing content, accessing leaderboards, or validating data with a server.Versus - These trophies can be obtained by two or more players in a face off gamemode who have met the trophy requirements.Cumulative + - These trophies are obtained by repeatedly performing the same action or set of actions over time.

The Invader medal is pretty much the opposite. You want to capture the enemy base, with at least 80 capture points. If you are capturing with an ally and you both have 50 points of capture, you won't get the medal. You need to capture the base almost on your own (the base is captured with 100 points by the way, as explained in the previous page). It is safe to capture when you are alone: no allies to steal your points and no enemies to reset your points. Try this only when it is safe or when you have nothing better to do with your tank. Obtain the medal 3 times and be rewarded with this.

  • Invader

Capture the maximum number of points from the enemy base, but not less than 80, 3 times. MP only.

    Invader

If you score the most experience & the most damage dealt in one battle in your team, then you will receive the next trophy. It should come quite quickly if you read and apply the information in the hints and tips part II section.

  • MVP

Have the highest XP of your team and survive. MP only.

    MVP
Online Mode - These trophies require a connection to live services, such as PlayStation Network, for playing an online game mode, for sharing content, accessing leaderboards, or validating data with a server.Versus - These trophies can be obtained by two or more players in a face off gamemode who have met the trophy requirements.

Eyes Peeled requires specificly 15 spotting assist ribbons. You want to pick any tank that can spot for your team. Most likely light tanks, but some others are well suited, such as the T67, the Hellcat, any fast medium with optics and so on. You get the idea: get in an advanced position, spot the enemy and stay alive until you rack up those 15 ribbons. Active and possive scouting both work well so pick your prefered technique. You will definitely earn this on your way to tier X light tank.

  • Eyes Peeled

Earn 15 or more spotting assist ribbons during a multiplayer battle

    Eyes Peeled
Discontinued - These trophies can no longer be obtained due to closed servers, a bad patch, or other unusual circumstances.

Tank ACE is a badge earned at the end of a game if you outperform 99% of the other players who drove the same tank in the last week. You actually need to have a better result (in base XP) than the best game of 99% of the players who drove the same tank in the past week. If you don't understand, it's alright. Short version: you need a monster game in your tank. Once more, it all comes down to the tips and tricks in the previous page to improve your skill. This is typically the kind of trophies that you don't want to actively farm, because the more pressure you place on yourself, the least efficient you will be in the end. My only suggestion will be to play your favorite tank regularly. There are several replays in my channel with all kind of tanks and most of them have the Ace mastery, but there are other Youtubers with excellent games as well out there so pick your favorite! If you get 1st class mastery (for outperforming 95% of players) from time to time, you are on the right track. You can check your mastery badges in the garage "stats" tab.

  • Tank Ace

Earn the Ace Tanker Mastery Badge and survive.

    Tank Ace
Online Mode - These trophies require a connection to live services, such as PlayStation Network, for playing an online game mode, for sharing content, accessing leaderboards, or validating data with a server.Versus - These trophies can be obtained by two or more players in a face off gamemode who have met the trophy requirements.

The next trophy requires you to perform extremely well in a single battle, on order to earn 100.000 silver in one battle. We are talking about gross earnings and not benefits, which means repair and ammo cost will not be taken into account. How to get that many silver in one battle? You need tons of damage, assistance damage (upon your spotting or tracking), and blocking damage (obviously for armored tanks). Kills and capture points gives you some silver as well. Premium account and operations will not be taken into account, however the income bonus from the tank itself WILL. Therefore it's much easier with a premium tank, preferably tier VIII for higher potential of damage per game. It is entirely possible to do it with a regular tank, but you will need to outdo yourself (we are talking at least 8k damage in tier X). In this case there is no easy gimmick: play your favorite tank until you master it.

It is hard to pull off, so don't pressure yourself into it early on. It may pop naturally if you have a monster game, but you will most likely need to play a premium tier VIII vehicle for it. Don't fret, Wargaming sometimes give one of them as a prize for a monthly operation. They started with the Motherland, and then continued with several other premium tanks. We were tasked to earn enough xp in a single month, over several operations. After completing the last one, the premium tank was given to us by Wargaming.

You can check how much gross earnings you get in in battle, in the battle result screen, "team" tab. Go on your gamertag and press for details. It's under "silver earn" in the silver category. Do NOT take into account silver values in the first battle result screen, as they tell you how much you benefited, it's irrelevant for the purpose of this trophy.

  • Show Me The Money

One man army is linked to the base XP received at the end of the battle. You need to be MVP of your team and to have at least twice the amount of the second best player. This will happen when you either have a monster game, but more likely when you get a heroic medal in a defeat. The most common heroic medals are

  • Top gun (6 kills or more)
  • Steel wall (stay alive and block the highest amount of damage from at least 11 shots in a game)
  • Scout (detect 9 enemies for the first time in a single game)
  • High caliber (deal the most damage in a game, at least 20% of the enemy combined HP pool)

If you earn one of those medals in a defeat you still earn +50% of base XP as if it were a victory. Therefore, if the second best player doesn't have one of those medals you will probably have much more base XP than him. Again, this trophy will be earned naturally if you improve your skills by reading the tips and tricks and watching videos / streams!

  • One Man Army

Survive a match and earn 2x more XP than the 2nd best player on your team, before bonuses. MP only.

David and Goliath is quite tricky as it requires you to kill an enemy two tiers higher than your own. For example, if you play a tier VI tank, you need to kill a tier VIII. Obviously you don't meet them all the time, you will have to wait for the matchmaking to throw you in a game with those tanks. When that happens, don't try to SOLO your way against them as they are immensely more powerful than you. You have a few options for this trophy:

  • - 1 - Wait for a top tier enemy tank to have very low health and sneak a shot when they are about to die. You can load a premium APCR shell to increase your chance of penetrating his armor. Alternatively go around their back and shoot them there.
  • - 2 - Play a light tank. They often meet high tier enemies and have the mobility to flank them. Try to kill only isolated opponents, as your light tank cannot take any shot from the enemy as they will obliterate you. Be sneaky and outsmart your enemies. Wait for the right opportunity and circle around a lone enemy to his death.
  • - 3 - Use artillery. You can safely plant some dirty shells in enemies regardless of their tier, since you shoot from afar. It is best done against soft targets such as medium tanks.
  • - 4 - Kill a high tier artillery. It is quite rare to be matched against a higher tier artillery but if it is the case they are not harder to kill, it will only take 2 or 3 shots and they still don't have armor.

Now, for the next trophy you need to receive the most shots fired by the enemy team (at least 11) and survive the battle. You don't need to win but surviving a defeat is quite rare. You can pick a tank with a good armor, such as the British AT tanks, American T28 or T95, or even the M4A3E2 with the solid turret is good for this. The T29 is a good choice if you show only the front of the turret. The KV1 can bounce a lot of shots as well.

  • Steel Wall

Block more damage than your team after surviving at least 11 hits for 1,000 potential HP. MP Only.

    Steel Wall

If you block damage equal to twice your own health (or more), you will earn another difficult trophy. Again, the tanks mentioned for the previous achievement are the best. I personally did it in my T29 in a hulldown position: I only showed my turret and it kept bouncing shots.

For top gun, you need to kill at least 6 opponents in one game. This is not so hard, but still harder than most previous trophy. I recommend playing with tanks that you are comfortable with, but light tanks and artillery almost never get 6 kills. Don't play with the purpose of killing 6 tanks, it's the best way to be too aggressive and die very fast. Play for the win and sooner or later 6 tanks will explode because of your shells. I recommend any tank with a good penetration value and a decent rate of fire

  • Top Gun

Destroy more enemy vehicles than any player in your team during the battle (at least 6). MP only.

If you kill an enemy that is not spotted, or not spotted anymore, you will get Blind Faith trophy. There are several ways to get it, and it will most likely pop naturally because if you shoot at someone who just disappeared and you kill him, it will unlock the trophy. Other ways: blind fire a position where you see shells being fired from, or a classic position where there is usually someone. For instance an overused bush or piece of cover. Artillery is great for that purpose because the top down view is appropriate to look after those shell tracers, in addition of being prone to one shot the enemy.

Sniper is really easy. Pick a tank with good accuracy (any accurate Tank Destroyer or the Panther I or II), or try to maintain a reasonable distance between you and your target. You need 85% or more of your shells to hit an enemy tank. You don't need to penetrate or even deal any damage, as long as the potential damage is superior to 1000. If two players have the same hit ratio, the one with the most XP earned in the battle will get the medal. You will get this naturally while playing Tank Destroyer.

  • Sniper

Hit at least 85% in 10 or more shots fired and a potential damage of at least 1,000 HP. MP only.

    Sniper

Don't Scratch the Paint is tricky. You need to receive 1.000 potential damage, but to keep health at 100%. It means that you need to bounce shots worth of 1.000 potential damage. Also, note that if a shot damages a module or kills a crew member, you are fine as long as you didn't lose any HP. You will need a solid tank, and some luck as well for this one. Don't attempt this if there is artillery, it's not worth it.

Best scenario for this: being top tier, without artillery, playing a tank with good armor. The T29 that I recommended to research is very good, but there are plenty of tanks that you can use. Remember: never expose any of your weak points. The T29, the M4A3E2, the T28, the T95, the KV1, the English AT tanks, the Jadgtiger, the JagdPz E100, the E75 and the E100 are all good picks. The higher the tier, the easier it will be to rack up 1000 potential damage, but your opponents will probably be more experienced and will shoot your weak points. I got mine while using the E75, an excellent tank. Good techniques to bounce enemy shells: hull down, side-scrap, and angling your tank. All of these are explained in Hints and Tips Part II. Don't go for peek-a-boo, and always stay close to cover when there is an opponent.

The next one is quite hard and luck based too. You want to be the last survivor in your team, and survive a whole minute while being detected. In most cases, all the enemies will rush and you'll die in mere seconds. It's much easier to attempt this when there only one or 2 opponents remaining, ideally in a solid tank. Get close to one and use the proximity spotting mechanic: if you are closer than 50m to him, you'll both get detected even if there is a house or anything blocking the line of sight. Use that to your advantage: maintain less than 50m and run around or perma track the opponent (shoot him repeateadly in the tracks to immobilize him permanently). You can also patiently wait close to him if he is scared to go after you. All of these techniques will work only if there is only one or 2 enemies, as if there are more they will rush you for the xp! Remember that you don't need to win or survive the end of the game, but 1 minute is a very long time if blood thirsty enemies are chasing after you!

  • A God Among Men

Survive for one minute while remaining spotted as the last member of your team. MP Only.
