Once you have control of Ellie back in the theater, make your way up the aisle and into the main lobby. Turn left and head upstairs, then go through the door next to the bar and finally through the yellow door into the projector room. After the cut-scenes are over, you'll be back outside, in an area of Seattle called Hillcrest.

Trading Card - Wachumero - As soon as you have control of Ellie, turn completely around and move forward. Drop down into the sunken area and climb into the bed of the pickup truck. Smash the back window of the truck and grab the card sitting on the seat in the cabin of the truck.

Image 1

Climb out of the sunken area using the trailer, then head on down the road straight ahead.

Artifact - Boris' Daughter's Drawing - As you are moving ahead, keep an eye out for a white van with a "WLF RULES MUST BE FOLLOWED" tarp draped over it. Go into the clothing shop, called Rosemont, next to the van. Go to the back of the store and make a right at the wall to spot a hole in a wall behind the checkout counter. Once you've dropped down into the basement of the shop, go to the cot near some shelves to find this artifact sitting on a brown end table.

Image 1

Workbench #6 - You'll find this workbench in the same basement. Be sure to use it to ensure it counts towards trophy progress.

Artifact - Join WLF Note - Head up the stairs and leave the clothing shop through the front door. Go ahead and slightly right past the white van and the station wagon to reach the Majestic Laundromat. Head inside and go to the vending machines in the back left corner to find a door. Head inside and you'll spot this artifact on the front corner of the desk.

Image 1

Leave the laundromat through the way you came in, then make a left and go to the end of the street. Climb up on top of the overturned delivery truck at the end for a brief scene where Ellie sees a pickup truck drive off into the distance. Once you're in control of Ellie again, drop down.

Artifact - Need a Plan Note - As soon as you drop down, make a left and go down the dark, wooded path until you reach a sunken area. Use the trash bin in the corner by the pipe to reach the front of the Caroline Paper Company. Bust out the windows, head into the shop, and look for this artifact on the display case in the middle of the shop.

Image 1

Trading Card - Sahir the Sorcerer - In the same shop, go to the back wall behind the checkout counter and look at the pile of boxes. You'll spot this well-hidden card inside one of the boxes in the middle of the pile; you may need to adjust your camera to spot it.

Image 1

Artifact - Yolanda's Note - Go out of the store and back through the sunken area. Once you're up and out of the sunken area, veer left and go to the left side of the pickup truck ahead. Enter into the Used & Rare Books shop to the left of the truck. Go over to the checkout counter and you should see this artifact sitting right in the middle of it.

Image 1

Journal Entry #11 - Leave the bookstore the way you came in, then make an immediate left and walk past the U-MOVE moving trailer. As soon as you're past the trailer, look left to spot another "WLF RULES MUST BE FOLLOWED" tarp, but with some orange graffiti painted over it. The Ruston Coffee shop is just to the right of it. Interact with the tarp to jot down another journal entry.

Image 1

Now that we've scoured the area for collectibles, it's time to continue on. Facing the tarp mentioned in Journal Entry #11, turn right and go into the Ruston Coffee shop. Go through it and exit through the doorway on the right. Hope over the fence and climb the ladder against the red brick wall. Go across the roof and hop over the two metal beams near the broken brick wall. As soon as you drop in, you'll be in an area with WLF soldiers as well as dogs. Dogs add complexity to the proceedings; their sense of smell can easily locate you, so when there are dogs in an encounter, be sure to keep moving and put some distance between you and the dog to throw it off your scent.

You can easily sneak by this set of enemies if you head to the right and outside through the giant hole in the corner of the building. Once on the street, go on the opposite side and look for a narrow gab in the stone wall you can squeeze through. Head through this next shop and exit through the back right exit. Squeeze through the next narrow gap ahead to enter another shop. When the coast is relatively clear, break open the glass window at the opposite end, then climb through. Your goal is the red double doors ahead in the busted out shop. Head over there and interact with the doors to open them to end the encounter. Follow the path beyond the door through a back alley, then climb the stairs you eventually reach.

At the top of the stairs, head left to the end of the alley, then make another left and open the gate to release a trash dumpster. Grab the dumpster and move it down the alley past the small ramp, then move it around the corner to the left. Push it up against the wall, then quickly climb up onto the dumpster and up onto the roof of the building. You have to be quick because the dumpster will immediately start rolling down the slope. Drop down to a lower area, then climb up through the hole in the wall.

Workbench #7 - As soon as you climb through the hole in the wall, move directly ahead and you'll see this red workbench in front of you.

Image 1

Trading Card - Naledi the Youthful - Facing the workbench, turn 90 degrees to the right and go into the far back corner to find a bike with a trading card stuck in its spokes.

Image 1

Artifact - Condolence Note - Face away from the bike where you found the card, then enter the first door on the left. Inside this office, you'll find a nice supply of parts as well as an artifact on the left computer desk.

Image 1

Artifact - Note in Hillcrest Tattoo Parlor - Exit the office and go through the door next to the workbench. Go forward and leave the store through the front entrance. Once outside, make a left and enter the first shop on the left you see; this is the Velvet Tattoo shop. Go into the back room of the shop and grab the artifact sitting on the corner of the table just right of the back exit.

Image 1

Exit out the back of the tattoo parlor, then make a right. Up ahead, you should see a building marked "AUTO PARTS REPAIRS". Go over to the auto repair shop and grab onto the garbage dumpster. Pull it away from the door it's parked in front of, then get ready. Open the door and five Runners will charge out at you. Take them down with well-place headshots as they come.

Safe #6 - When the Runners are down, go inside the building they poured out of to find a safe to the right as soon as you're through the door. There's a clue to this safe later on, but to save you time, input 30-82-65 to open it up.

Weapon - Short Gun Holster - This short gun holster upgrade is located in the above safe. The holster, like it's long gun cousin, allows you to quickly switch between two equipped short guns.

Leave the auto repair shop and go around the chain link fence to the left. Go through the open doorway underneath an awning higher up to enter a salon. Go out of the front door of the salon to return to the main street. Turn right and go down the street. Go over to the Goldstar Liquor shop on the corner behind a military Humvee. Hop through the broken window to head inside. Go to the back of the small liquor store and drop down into a creepy basement. As soon as you land, Ellie will notice the sound of Shamblers. Set up some trap mines in the doorways to the left, then throw a bottle near them to attack the Shamblers over. Once a trap detonates and one of the two Shamblers is stunned, wail away on it with your shotgun or rifle and it'll be down in no time. Watch out for the other Shambler, though, as more than likely only one of them was stunned. Once they're both down, head to the other end of the basement to find a bathroom with some supplements. Just outside the bathroom, look around the corner to the right to find a crawlspace for Ellie to crawl through. Once through, climb up the broken stairs to reach a toy shop.

Training Manual - Precision - Go toward the front entrance of the toy shop to find a training manual on the ground next to a long-dead infected leaned up against the checkout counter.

Image 1

Artifact - Turn in Boris Note - Jump through the open window at the front of the toy shop to reach the street below once again. Turn right and make your way over to the police car in the distance. Go past the police car into the pet boutique behind it. Go to the back of the shop and smash one of the windows, then turn and face the hole in the wall. The smashing of the windows will alert a Runner and a Shambler and they'll appear from that hole. Take them out when they show up, then hop through the glass window you just broke. Turn right and locate this artifact on a counter next to some sinks.

Image 1

Artifact - Dale's Combo - Leave the grooming area and go through the hole in the wall from before to reach a bar next door. Go to the opposite corner of the bar to find an open doorway leading into the kitchen. Immediately after going through the doorway, look 90 degrees left to spot an artifact posted to the wall amongst some other postings. In case you're wondering, this artifact has the combination to the safe we opened in the auto repair shop.

Image 1

Leave through the back doors of the kitchen and you'll be back outside. Grab the arrows from the dead infected next to the stairs, then climb up the stairs to the top. Head for the smoke on the horizon, but stop and hide behind the vehicle on the way. There are Runners nearby, so plan your route. You can easily avoid all combat if you make your way through the tall grass to the left, then head straight to the wooden privacy fence ahead. However you want to play it, make your way over the fence to reach a backyard.

Trading Card - Brainstorm - Go to the left side of the yard and around to the other side of the large dollhouse to find this card resting on the door of the dollhouse.

Image 1

Artifact - Boris' Confession - Enter the house and veer right to the coffee table. You'll find this artifact on the corner of the coffee table right next to a TV remote and some helpful supplements.

Image 1

Artifact - Rosemont's Flyer - Face away from the coffee table and head toward the kitchen. Before you reach the kitchen, look along the left wall to spot a small piece of furniture. This artifact is on the right corner of the furniture.

Image 1

Weapon - Bow - Go through the busted door in the kitchen to reach the garage. As soon as you're through, you'll be attacked by a Stalker. When you have control of Ellie, beat the Stalker in a hand-to-hand fight by using a combination of strikes and dodges; or, you could use a couple of shotgun blasts to the torso. When it's down, go over to it and take the bow from it. Nice! You can also craft your own arrows. Even nicer!

Image 1

Check around the garage for some helpful ammo and resources, then open the garage door. Test out your new bow on the target dummies, then when you're ready, hop over the face on the other side of the yard. As soon as you're over the fence, you'll see a whole mess of WLF soldiers on patrol. On harder difficulties, you may want to stealth this area to save ammo and to incur less risk; however, on this initial playthrough, we have a collectible to find. So, to make it easy on yourself, eliminate the whole group of WLF and their dogs to allow you to explore at your leisure. Use stealth as long as you can, but remember that dogs have a keen sense of smell. Remember that you also have access to the newly acquired bow for stealth kills, and, if you've unlocked it in the skill tree, access to silencers for your pistol weapon. Use all the tools at your disposal to eliminate the opposition.

Trading Card - Reverb - When the area is clear, go back to the street where you first started out in this encounter, then locate the house with the orange and black tarp completely surrounding it. Face away from that house and look straight across the street for another house: number 1214 (refer to the first image below). Head inside that house and go up to the second floor. Go into the darker-lit bedroom and go prone. Crawl under the bed to find this insanely well-hidden trading card near some yellow shoes.

Image 1

Image 1

Exit the house you're in through the back, then angle left through the tall grass to a house with a pergola in the backyard. If at any point you get lost in this neighborhood area, head in the direction of the black smoke on the horizon. Keep an eye out for more WLF soldiers if you didn't come this way before, or if they didn't hear the battle a moment ago. Head into the nearby garage and out through a massive hole on the other side of the garage. Once you slide down a muddy slope, you're in for another fight. There are no collectibles to find in this area, so if you want to practice your stealth, now's a good time to do so.

Head left through the grass toward an RV. Go all the way around the RV (watch out for a nearby WLF soldier and his dog), then turn right and hop into the house through the window. Make an immediate left and jump through a broken wall back outside. Stay low and crouch behind the hot tub ahead. When you're clear, go through the burnt hole in the house next to the hot tub. Once again, turn left inside the house and jump through another hole up ahead. As you turn right and approach a fence, a dog will charge at the fence. It can't reach you, but it attracts the attention of off-screen WLF soldiers. Run around the fence and into the next house, then drop down to reach the house's basement. Three WLF soldiers will run down the stairs across the basement. Take them out, then head up the stairs they descended from.

Once you reach upstairs, a WLF will charge into the hall from the right. Be prepared to take her down. Spring through the hole where she emerged from and continue running in this direction, toward the smoke, until you hop through an open window; this initiates a couple of scenes. After the scenes, you and Jesse will be in the midst of more WLF. Wait by the low fence until the closest two soldiers walk by; Jesse might even take one down for you. The grass is your friend here, so use it to take down all four WLF soldiers in this area, and Jesse will go over to one of them and retrieve some truck keys. Follow him to the pickup and get inside. Several WLFs will show up from behind, so hold them off while Jesse gets the truck started. Immediately afterward, a WLF will grab Jesse; shoot the WLF in the head before Jesse's health meter empties. Once Jesse starts driving, shoot at the enemies on the back of the truck that appears in front of you. Eventually, you'll be side-by-side with the enemy vehicle; shoot at the driver to cause both it and you to crash.

A group of infected will appear and head in your direction. Shoot at them if you want, but be ready for a Runner to grab onto Ellie. Use cn_S to hold it off until Jesse blows it away. Jesse will then drive forward, so shoot the infected in front of you. A Clicker will jump on the hood; shoot it in the head to kill it. While this is happening, Jesse will launch the truck into the river. Swim up to the surface when you have control of Ellie to end this long stretch of excitement.

Image 1

Journal Entry #12 - After some scenes, you'll have control of Ellie in another flashback. As soon as you start, walk ahead and veer right to the edge of the cliff. Interact with the cliff when you're close enough to jot down this next journal entry.

Image 1

Turn from the cliff edge and follow Tommy along the path. He will stop and mention some infected stragglers. After he takes a couple of shots, he'll ask Ellie if she "wants to give it a whirl". Take the rifle and aim toward the buildings in the distance. Zoom in with cn_X the aim just above the red sign to draw out more infected. If you have auto-aim on, taking out the infected is a cinch. Simply place one in your sights and the auto-aim will compensate for the bullet drop automatically. If you're playing without auto-aim, be sure to aim slightly above your target, depending on how far away the target is. Once all the infected are down, turn and follow Tommy as he moves on down the path. He'll stop again up ahead, so aim toward the pickup truck off in the distance, then look down from there to spot an infected munching on a deer. Take them down as you did before.

Once they're all down, turn around and go to Tommy who is now looking at more infected WAY off in the distance by a ski lift tower. Once again, kill all the infected in the area. If auto-aim is off, be sure to compensate for the increased distance by aiming higher than you have been. Once they're down, follow Tommy a short distance, then hand him back his sniper rifle. Move forward down the grassy hill and enter the ski lodge. Go through the open doorway next to Tommy to initiate a scene.

Once you're back in control, follow Joel back outside and hop on your horse. Follow Joel through the wilderness for quite a while until you're forced to dismount your horse. Climb over the railing and follow Joel over to a U-Move moving trailer.

Trading Card - The Austringer - Drop down past the U-Move trailer and head around to the passenger side of the hatchback in front of you. You'll find this trading card on the backseat of the passenger side.

Image 1

Climb back over the U-Move trailer and head toward the corner of the building to the left. Go around the corner to find some double doors on the other side of the building. They're locked tight, but Joel will lift up some debris for you to crawl under. Go through the room and take a left out in the hall. Make another left and open the doors at the other end to let Joel inside. Turn around and turn left into Room 111 to find some supplies scattered around. Then leave the room and go over to Joel. He'll move a vending machine out of the way of a narrow passage. Squeeze on through and follow Joel to a hole high up in one of the walls. Explore the room for some supplies, then follow Joel out the front door.

Artifact - Tara's Invitation - Go right across the hall into Room 107, and grab this artifact off of the dresser that's blocking half the entryway.

Image 1

When you have the artifact, go around the corner to find Joel crouched in front of a dead infected. Turn from the dead infected and climb up a ledge and climb further up through a hole high up a wall. Go over to Joel and interact with the door to arrive in an area with some infected roaming around. Go behind the bar counter to the left and survey your surroundings. A Runner should appear to your right, and one will be on your left, hunched over. Wait until the one on the right is nearby, then take it out, followed by the one on the left. Keep sneaking around, removing the infected until more show up from the balcony above. Once they're all down, follow Joel over to another set of doors.

When you try to open them, several more waves of infected will show up. Take them down, but don't get surrounded; things can turn ugly real quick. Joel does a lot of work here, so stick near him and he'll take down several on his own. Once they're all down, head through the doors you tried opening a moment ago. Squeeze between the walls and as soon as you pass under a pipe, a Bloater will grab Ellie and slam her down. Once Joel draws it away, wail away at it with your rifle. Be careful, because there's a Runner in here as well for added measure. After taking enough damage, the Bloater will charge Ellie and grab her; just when things look dire, Joel will rescue her.

Follow Joel over to some furniture blocking some doors, then pass on through. Go to the end of the hall and turn right into a gym. Go through the gym and follow Joel into and through a large set of locker rooms. After the locker rooms, go down another hall and follow him to another door. Squeeze through the door to initiate some scenes.

Image 1

Once all the scenes are done, you'll be back with Ellie in front of the theater hideout. Turn left around the theater and follow the road down to a checkpoint. Push through some turnstiles and turn right. Use the small objects to climb up the stone wall in front of you. Drop down to the left and enter the Quickmart.

Trading Card - Randy Styles - Turn left and walk along the right wall toward the opposite end of the store. After you pass some vending machines, pass by two shelving units on the right. After passing the second one, turn right and check the middle shelf of the second set of shelving units you passed to find this card next to a purple box.

Image 1

Turn away from the trading card shelf and climb through the open window to the left of the checkout lanes. Go forward into the open area and make a right. Go to the front windows of the building with the red awnings. Smash one of the windows and get ready for a fight. Two Clickers and at least one Runner will come and investigate the noise; if they stay inside and turn away, then make an attempt to kill them quietly if you want. Otherwise, go loud and kill both Clickers and two Runners.

Artifact - WLF Target List - Once all four infected are down, check each one of their corpses to find this artifact. It's more than likely on one of the Clickers.

Image 1

Journal Entry #13 - Leave the building the way you came in, then look directly across the street at the Quickmart across the street. Now pan your camera to the left to spot an open doorway in a building with several windows. Angle left and head into the front doors of the building. As soon as you're inside, go to the graffiti on the back wall and interact with it to jot down this journal entry.

Image 1

Turn left from the graffiti and enter the elevator shaft. Climb up the ladder to reach a platform, then jump over the gap through the open elevator door.

Trading Card - Shift - As soon as you're out of the elevator shaft, turn right and go to the glass windows at the far end of the floor. Smash the far left window, then look up and smash the glass awnings with either a throwing object or a bullet. Turn and pick up the rope on the ground near a locked door then toss it over the awning rail as shown in the first image below. Jump over to the rope, then swing into the next open window to reach a conference room. Pick up the generous amount of parts on the end of the conference table, then turn right and go over to the couch to find this trading card next to a duffel bag.

Image 1

Image 1

Artifact - Last Letter to Husband - In the same room as the above trading card, look on the ground between the two couches to find this artifact next to some containers.

Image 1

Exit the building through the window and jump for the rope again. Slide down it to the ground below. Go in a straight line between a yellow taxi cab and a grey car. Keep going in this direction until you pass a brown deliver truck. Turn left after the truck and head up the steps leading to the front entrance of a tall apartment complex ahead. The front doors are locked, so turn right at the doors and go down some steps, then crawl through a short, low window. Make your way through the laundry room and up some steps. Open the door at the top and you'll trip a noise trap. Nothing should charge at you, but this should give you a clue that some kind of threat is nearby. Head upstairs to the next floor up.

Artefact - Evacuation Letter - As soon as you're at the top of the stairs, move forward and smash out the window. Climb through onto a platform, then turn left and jump across to another narrower platform. Smash open the window here and enter back into the building. Go over to the kitchen table to find an artifact on one end of it. This artifact has a clue to discovering the combination of an upcoming safe.

Image 1

Trading Card - Star Sign - In the same apartment, go into the bedroom in the back and open the nightstand drawer next to the bed to find a trading card inside.

Image 1

Safe #7 - In the same bedroom of the apartment, go to the right of the bed and look at the calendar on the wall. These dates are important in opening the safe in the same room. Find the safe in the closet on the other side of the room. As always, to save you time, simply enter 10-08-83 as the combination to unlock the safe. If you're wondering about how to get the solution, it's the anniversary date shown on the calendar, then subtract 30 from 2013 to come up with the correct year, 1983.

Image 1

Image 1

Workbench #8 - Leave the apartment and go straight across the landing to another door. Open it and head into another apartment. Check around for some helpful items, then go over and interact with the workbench inside. This one is part of the story and is unavoidable.

As soon as you use the workbench, you'll be interrupted by a WLF soldier. Fight him off with cn_S, then take him out. Three more WLF will enter the apartment, so take cover and defeat them. As soon as they're dead, go back and finish upgrading your weapons. When you're done, leave the workbench.

Training Manual - Explosives - Face away from the workbench and then head for the exit. Before you get to the exit door, look left for a door with a green towel hanging from it. Go inside the room to find a ton of supplements as well as this training menu on the corner of the bed.

Image 1

Artifact - WLF Deserter Memo - Go over to the entertainment center in the same bedroom and look under the TV to find an artifact.

Image 1

Exit the apartment and go back downstairs to the ground floor. Exit the apartment complex through the front door, and turn left outside. Go to the garbage truck and look beyond it to spot a gate with a sign that reads "DO NOT BLOCK 24 HOUR ACCESS". Go to the right end of the gate and climb the red trash dumpster, then climb up and over the gate. Go forward and enter through the orange door on the right. Now, this next part requires some semi-quick movement, so read the next paragraph first before continuing.

The goal in this room is to get the green trash dumpster out of the building through the closed gate. However, if you attempt to open the gate, it slams down as soon as you let go of the chain. To solve this puzzle, grab the dumpster and take it up the incline in the middle of the room. Push the dumpster almost completely up the incline, but leave the two wheels closest to you just in front of the thick white line at the top of the incline (as shown in the image below).

Image 1

Then, release the dumpster and quickly run over to the chain at the left of the closed gate and open it. If you did it fast enough, the dumpster will roll down the slope and roll on through the gate you're holding open. When it is through, release the gate and return back outside. Grab the dumpster and push it against the wall opposite the gate. Use it to reach the ledge above. Drop down the other side and make your way up some stairs. Climb the next two ledges and Ellie will stop and look at the hospital in the distance.

Journal Entry #14 - While looking at the hospital in the distance, Ellie will automatically jot this journal entry down; it's story-related and unmissable.

Turn right and smash through the window ahead. Make a right and go around the railing, then hop left over the railing onto the top of some scaffolding. Face the other scaffolding across the room and jump down to the lower level part of it. Finally, drop down to the ground below.

Trading Card - Arch-Enemy - Go between the two metal frames of the scaffolding and climb up to the grassy ledge. Go forward and look up the right wall to see a couple of windows above. Smash one of the windows and climb on through. Go to the other end of the room and open the desk drawer on the left just below a shotgun to find a trading card inside.

Image 1

Exit the side room and return to the main room with the scaffolding. Go straight ahead from the door and turn left when you can. Go forward and enter through the double doors on the right. Go across the room and make a left around the front counter, then make a right at the next corner. Finally, use the furniture at the end to climb into a high window above. When you land, you'll be face-to-face with a group of Stalkers. Stalkers are interesting in that they are not quite blind like Clickers, so they can see you, but they're also clever enough to be sneaky. They will dart between the cover and attempt to flank you (unless the flank settings are turned off), or they'll just bide their time and charge at you randomly. Equip your heavy weapon and get ready to blast them as they approach as you quietly move around to the left side of the area. You'll reach an area with a wide aisle with desks to the right; prime opportunity for the Stalkers to attack, so be ready. Creep forward while watching the desks to the right. Jump through the open window on the opposite side of the room.

Hug the left wall while watching your surroundings, then pass through the hole in the wall on the opposite end of the room. Once you're through the hole, hang left and go around the inner wall until you reach an impassable wall of fungus. Turn right into the inner office and quietly walk past the metal shelves sticking out on the left. Immediately after the shelves, turn left and bust open the window, then climb out. If you manage to get out of the office building without alerting all of the Stalkers, give yourself a pat on the back...and remember the path you took for the Grounded mode playthrough, if you're going for it.

Climb up the fire escape and leap across to the next one over. Stay on the bottom level of this second fire escape and jump through the open window nearby. You'll land in an area with more infected. If you want to practice your stealth here, go left through the tight gap in the wall, then continue forward and through an open window. Turn right and go through another tight gap in the wall ahead. Go straight ahead to the other side of the small office and stop at the gap in the wall ahead. There may be an infected on the other side of the wall peeking in and out of the gap. If you have a silent weapon, such as the bow or a silenced pistol, give it a quick headshot. If it spots you, get ready to take it and three other infected out. Otherwise, squeeze through the gap and continue forward to a wall. Turn right and squeeze through the cubicle walls and move forward. Open the door on the left to leave the area. Doing so will automatically cause more infected to appear, so use cn_S to push through the door. While trying to hold the door closed, another infected will charge in and pin Ellie against a window. Fight this one off with cn_S and you'll both tumble down into the water below. Not long after you take the plunge, the infected will grab onto you; fight it off once more with cn_S and Ellie will resurface and let the current take her through a fun little ride through some sewer tunnels.

When you reach the end of the water "ride", climb out of the water. Drop down the other side of the platform and swim to the right. Watch for a short blue railing and when you pass by it, swim around it and pull yourself up out of the water. Climb up the next to brick ledges, then make a left. Climb up the vent you reach, then follow it left. Squeeze through and balance across the moss-covered pipe. Crawl through the small gap on the other side, then drop down to the floor at the other end of the platform. Locate the ladder on the other side of the area and climb it to the top. Once you're out of the sewer, go forward, turn left and go up some stairs, then squeeze through the gate at the top to arrive in a massive park. Head into the park and climb up the ledge you come to and you'll hear some whistles. Move forward along the right side and Ellie will get hit with an arrow. Say hello to the other group of enemy humans in the game, the Scars.

Pull the arrow out using cn_R1, then crouch against the earth wall in front of you. You should spot an enemy with a torch nearby. You'll find that the scars communicate with whistles and are much more stealth-oriented than the opposing WLFs. You can certainly sneak through this area and bypass this fight, but there's a collectible in this area that can only be found if the enemies are all dead or if you maintain full stealth all the way to the collectible. The choice is yours, and it's certainly possible to do this area stealthily due to the ample amount of groundcover, but if you're spotted, then be sure to kill all enemies in the area. For the purposes of this walkthrough, let's assume you eliminated all enemies. Make your way to the street beyond the overgrown park.

Journal Entry #15 - Follow the road past some flaming vehicles until you see a military humvee in the middle of the road toward the end. Look a few paces left of the humvee to spot an old bus stop. Approach the corpse near the bus stop and interact with it to jot down another journal entry.

Image 1

Go past the humvee and then pass by the barrel fire to a set of double doors leading into the Garden Suites. Go through the doors.

Trading Card - Doppelganger - Go up the steps to the next floor, then make a left at the top. Ignore the door on the right for now; instead, make your way around the railing until you reach the opposite corner. There will be some toys on the ground along with a trading card next to a satchel.

Image 1

Return to the door you passed by a moment ago and enter. Explore the apartment for some resources and parts, then climb out the moss-covered window.

Artifact - Dying Husband's Plea - Don't drop down off the fire escape yet. Instead, climb up the fire escape to the next level up, then go around to the other side of the fire escape and bust out one of the windows. Go through the window and look to the back right to find a desk in the corner with a massive amount of supplements on top, and this artifact on the ground next to a corpse.

Now, leave the apartment and go down the fire escape; drop down to the ground once you reach the lowest level on the fire escape. Head toward the tarp with "FEDRA - HOSPITAL DISATER RECOVERY CENTER" written on it, then follow the winding path until you squeeze through a tight space and then slide down a muddy slope. Once you're at the bottom, head forward into the foliage and take cover. You'll spot some Scars hanging a WLF soldier; you can try to sneak around the area while they are occupied. Either direction works, but the right side seems to have a bit more cover. Watch your flank as you travel through the foliage until you reach a muddy path. Use the vehicle as cover, then when the coast is clear, move directly ahead and crawl under the fallen log. Once you're on the other side of the log, continue forward until you spot a hanging body. Don't drop down there; instead turn left 90 degrees and climb up the ledges ahead. You'll find yourself in a parking garage of sorts.

Turn right 90 degrees and walk along the wall up an incline and past a car. When you reach the top of the incline, continue forward and climb up the ledge. Move forward past an ivy-covered wall, then keep going forward while hugging the left ivy-covered wall. As you near a tree, if you've stayed in stealth, more Scars will appear from behind a semi parked a little ways forward. Stay behind cover as long as you can; if a Scar approaches you, be ready to take it down with a silenced weapon. When you have an opening, go up toward the yellow taxi, but don't go all the way over to it. Instead, turn left and leap across to the a lower street across the gap.

When you're on the other side of the gap, move forward a little ways, then look to the right to spot giant glass storefront windows. Bust one out and head inside. Go to the red door next to the "MERCI" lettering and attempt to open it. A "brute" class Scar will bust through the door, grab Ellie, and toss her over the counter. The brute will charge at you and swing his giant pickaxe at you, so if he gets too close, be sure to dodge with cn_L1. If you can put some distance between the two of you, you can fire some rounds of at his head. However, he's surprisingly quick, so you may just want to go hand-to-hand with him by using a mixture of dodges and melee strikes. He goes down surprisingly fast if you have a customized weapon and strike him with combos after a dodge. When he's down, grab his pickaxe if you want to try it out, then make your way over to the red door again. Go through, make a right, and force open the double doors in front of you.

Go through another open doorway then climb up on the moss-covered object in the middle of the next room. Climb up to the remains of an office floor. Circle around the cubicles and then hop across the gap in the floor. Head forward through an open doorway and up some stairs. At the top, crouch under the wood planks to emerge out onto the roof of the building. Go straight across the roof as far as you can go, then turn right. Go forward until you see a ladder leading down; take it all the way down, then drop in the water below. Go forward out of the water while hugging the far left wall. You'll reach some stairs on the other side of a broken wall. Head up those stairs, then go forward and slightly right along the railing. When you see an opening in a thin railing to the left, climb up the ledge. You should see Weston's Pharmacy to the right; enter through the front entrance.

Trading Card - Bhat M'Andarr - As soon as you're inside the pharmacy, look left to spot a trading card on some metal shelves attached to the front of the checkout counter.

Image 1

Artifact - Pharmacy Note - Hop directly over the counter and turn around to find an artifact on a lower shelf just right and below the cash register. This artifact contains the combination to an upcoming safe.

Image 1

Safe #8 - Face away from the counter and follow the left wall. Just past the first set of shelves on the left, you should spot a hole in the wall low to the ground. Crawl on through the hole and look to the left side of the room in the back to spot this safe. The combination is in the previous artifact you found, but to save time, enter 38-55-23 to unlock and open it.

Workbench #9 - In the same room as the safe, look in the other side of the room in the corner to find another workbench. Be sure to use it to ensure it counts toward the trophy progress.

Leave the side room you're in and return to the main room of the pharmacy. Turn left and exit out the back of the store, then make a left down some stairs. Jump into the water at the base of the stairs and swim along the path. Follow the right bank as it curves right, then swim under the fallen log when you reach it. Continue forward past the log and dive down again, then swim through a hard-to-see broken gate underwater. When you emerge, you'll be in a dark industrial-type room. Swim around the objects in the middle and approach the metal shutter at the end of the room. Dive and interact with the debris to swim through it. When you emerge, you'll see a lone WLF soldier sitting all alone. Swim on the right side of the room, then transition over to the left through an opening. Swim up to the WLF soldier and climb out of the water for a scene. After the scene, gather up some items scattered about the area, then head upstairs.

Open the door and you'll spot some WLF soldiers carrying some heavy objects towards the left. This area has a lot of WLF soldiers and it will test your sneaking ability. You could go loud, but there's a lot of open areas for you to get shot from. You may opt to practice your sneaking in this area, because this part is tricky on high difficulties, especially Grounded mode. Whatever you decide, your ultimate goal is to reach the inside of the hospital. If you want an effective stealth route, move forward through the grass, then turn right and pass by the lit-up tent on its left side. When you reach the other side of the tent, veer right through a side entrance of the hospital. Hide behind the hospital gurneys until the coast is clear, then head toward the small stairs ahead to the left of the gurneys. Go up the stairs and straight ahead past a chain link fence, then make an immediate right and follow the right wall.

Go through the open doorway in the back of this room, then make a left. Move forward and stay hidden behind a gurney. Depending on your timing, you may need to wait for a WLF to walk by you through a doorway to your left. When the coast is clear, move forward toward the double doors with the thin windows in them, but don't go to them yet. Stay on the right side and hide behind the low object near the doors. There might be a guard coming up on your left. Wait until he walks around the object to you, then stealth kill him. When he's down, go through the double doors ahead. Head upstairs and through the double doors at the top.

Artifact - Hospital Supply List - The last collectible of the act can be found in the room right across from the stairway exit. Go through the open doorway and look in the right side of the room for a counter up against the back of a couch. This artifact is sitting on a corner of the counter.

Leave the room and turn right. Follow the hallway nearly to the end, then turn left through an open doorway. Climb up the filing cabinet directly ahead, then up into a vent. As you move through the vent, you'll see WLF in the room below. Follow the vent as it turns left and continues off into the distance, then interact with the vent cover at the other end. Once Ellie drops down out of the vent, push forward through a door for a scene.

After the scene, sprint after Nora as she runs away from you. She'll eventually pass through a door and barricade it from the other side. Turn right, break open the window, hop into the next room, turn left and break another window, and finally hop through to get back on track. When you reach a large area, Nora will yell for assistance from guards up on the balcony. Ignore them and keep running forward, then turn right into another hall. Make your way through the obstacles, then head up some steps in the following room. Right to the right and stay on Nora's tail. She'll eventually run through another set of double doors, so bust through them and keep up with her. After jumping through some windows, you'll see an open elevator shaft up ahead. Leap across the elevator shaft and Nora will grab you and a fight will ensue. Fight her off using cn_S when prompted and she'll run off.

Run forward to the door she retreats through, then slam it open with cn_S. Right as soon as you're through, a WLF will shoot at you from the previous room. Ignore it and run down the hall and through the double doors at the end. You've caught up with Nora, but the WLF are right on your tail. After a brief standoff, Ellie will fall through a hole in the floor and into a spore-filled room. Nora will run off, but some WLF will put masks on and follow you down. As soon as you have control of Ellie, toss a Molotov or at least a throwing object at the soldiers to hopefully eliminate at least one (if using a Molotov), but throwing any object will suffice as it draws in some Clickers from off-screen. Use the distraction to try to make your way over to the door in the far corner where Nora retreated to. Be prepared to stealth kill any enemy that puts itself between you and the door. Of course, if you choose, you can pick stragglers off with silenced weapons, or just go loud and cause your own chaos. However you handle this area, go through the well-lit door in the corner of the room.

Once you are through the door, follow he hall as it turns and eventually, you'll see an open doorway on the left marked "Medical Records". Go through the doorway and make an immediate right. Go around the obstacles in front of you and then walk down the middle aisle. At the end of the aisle, turn left and crouch through a gap, then make a right. In the next room, go to the metal door and pass through it to finally catch up to Nora. Walk toward her to initiate a cut-scene. After the scene, you're forced to kill Nora, so follow the on-screen prompts to initiate a few more cut-scenes.

After the scenes, you'll control Ellie in another flashback. Simply walk to the end of the hall and open the red door. Go through the next door, then circle around the surgical table in the middle of the room and go over to some Firefly-marked duffel bags. Interact with them for more cut-scenes and to bring the act to a close.
