This one is almost a freebie. Once you start up your first game, hit before your opponent does to knock off their head, win the round and pop the trophy.
Bum’s RushPunch someone's head off! (Don't worry, they get it back)
For this, both players need to be playing as Carrie. Ensure Face-Offs are set to on then let the clock run down. During the Face-Off do not press anything and let the two Carries slowly close in on one another for the most ultimate of fist bumps.
The Ultimate Fist BumpThe Ultimate Fist Bump. Possibly the greatest trophy ever. This is one you will have to figure out on your own.
Self-explanatory really. This is cumulative across all game modes. This will unlock en route to the 1,000 heads popped trophy.
Make sure you have Face-Offs are turned out and let the timer run out. During the Face-Off you will be challenged to some QTE sequences, of which you will usually get around 5-6 done each time depending on you and your partners reflexes. This is also cumulative.
You can perform a fake by hitting . I suggest playing matches in Threes for this since you can perform three of these per round instead of one. Hit three of them before doing your attack each round and you will get this in no time.
For this, turn off Face-Offs and. Now enter a quick match and let the timer run out. This will cause both players to die and end the round in a tie. Simply do this for five rounds in a row.
SockdollagerTie five times straight with Face Off deactivated
Similar to the trophy for 100 Fakes, do this in Threes to get more in per round. To block successfully you will need to hit just as your opponent is attacking.
Now onto King of the Hill mode. This is where you will need to have three controllers (or two plus a Vita). To enter sudden death mode, you will need to make sure that each player finishes with the same amount of wins. Get a win with each character and let the timer run out. You will need to turn off Face-Offs for this. Once in sudden death, kill the other two players with your character to win the round and the trophy.
While in King of the Hill, you will also need to get five kills in a row. With you in possession of all the controllers, this is just a case of hitting five times.
Now for Tag Team mode. Here you will have a new button to play with. Hit to swap between your team-mates. In Tag Team you will have unlimited time, so just bash away at until it pops.
The fastest way to get this is to go to quick match and set number of victories required to one. When you have won your match, hit rematch to go again. The game over/ rematch screen will keep track of how many matches you have won with the character until you have left the session. Do this for each of the six characters and you will have this in no time. You can also keep track of how many wins you have with each character in the unlockables menu. There are trackers for winning 50 with each character, so you can check your progress out of 50 to find out.
There are 5 game modes you will need to play to unlock this - Quick Match, Twos, Threes, Tag Team and King of the Hill. Two controllers are required for all of these except KOTH, where you will need three. Set victories to the lowest possible to speed it up, it doesn't matter what the result, only that you complete a match in each mode.
This appears to be the only non-cumulative trophy in the game, at least that is how it seemed to me. Each character drops an item or two when they die. To maximise this, select Tag Teams and set ALL characters to Charlie the Bum, set Victories to 9 and turn face-offs off. Now once the match gets underway , hit on BOTH controllers to kill each other and allow for the highest amount of items dropped per round. You could easily just use your character to hit them as you will still need to pop quite a few more heads for the next trophy.
The "big" grind. By now you should have a good idea of how to speed this up. Use the same settings you used for Phonus Balonus, or just continue the same match. Depending on how many kills you have already attained this will likely take between 1-2 hours.
This has the potential to be a nightmare depending on your partner, if you have one that is. When you are in a face-off both you and your partner will need to enter the correct button prompt that is on screen. Get this right then you move onto the next one with the timer getting slightly faster. The first three inputs are simple one button prompts but the second batch of three you will need for the trophy are two button prompts. These consist of a shoulder button and a face button, ie and . It is pretty straightforward to get six right, the real challenge comes from you partner. If you don't have someone nearby that is even remotely good at QTE's then you could be here a while (trust me, I had to get the missus to help and she is not very good at these). Of course there is always Share Play if you are having trouble finding someone.
Big SixBoth players successfully complete 6 straight Face Off sequences
By the time you have all the other trophies you will most likely have about 5-6 hours left to kill. You have 2 choices here really, play or idle. If you choose to idle this, make sure you use Tage Team. Since the timer doesn't run down you will have all the time in the world. You can check how close you are in the unlockables menu. The very last unlockable requires 25 hours of playtime so you can see how many hours out of 25 you have currently played.
There you have it, a nice easy (and rather fun) 100%.
