This game captures the same essence that made the movie awesome. If you are a gamer who played through the 8 bit era, please do yourself a favor and download this game. The gameplay itself is a referance to SO many old school beat'em up games that its not even funny (actually it is but you get what I'm saying). TMNT 2, The Simpsons, River City Ransom, Streets Of Rage, Sonic the Hedgehog, Final Fantasy, Super Mario Bros, etc! What more can I say than its just a fun game to play? If you didn't see the movie or read the magna, you won't be that lost but may not understand certain details about certain scenes.

    My Breakdown:

    What's Good:

    - Plenty of kicking, punching, and weapons to beat enemies senseless with
    - Throwback 8 bit graphics and sound
    - Tons of references to old gaming classics
    - High replay value
    - Excellent multiplayer
    - Rewarding bonus content
    - Retains the movie's humor

    What's Not-So-Good:

    - Everybody's "super moves" involves Knives
    - The beginning of the game can be punishing before leveling up

    What's bad:

    - Stays too consistant to old school gameplay...making you start the WHOLE level over once getting a game over.

In all, how can you say you love video games but then not like this?
