4. LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars Free Play ModeUpdate notes

Completing Free Play in LEGO games generally consists of unlocking enough abilities to get everything in a level, and "everything" is usually a lot. Here in this game, however, all you need to worry about is reaching True Jedi and collecting 10 minikits. It is highly recommended that you start Free Play after the following:

  1. Finish The Zillo Beast and Hostage Crisis in Story Mode.
  2. Buy Count Dooku or finish Castle of Doom in Story Mode.
  3. Own at least the Score x2 and Score x4 cheats.
  4. Purchase a spacecraft with missile and torpedo abilities.
  5. Purchase a spacecraft with rapid fire abilities.
  6. Purchase a CIS spacecraft from the Invisible Hand.

Invincibility would not hurt after you get Score x6, as it'll be extremely useful for the six battlefield levels (Or, you know, if you're using cheat codes, you're likely overprepared - which is also good).

When you collect all the minikits in a level, you can buy a "classic" character from earlier LEGO Star Wars games. Just go left from the main room in the Resolute and take the elevator down to get there. You probably shouldn't be buying them until you get more multipliers, though.

When looking for minikits in ground battle levels, do everything minikit-related before you start attacking and taking over enemy forces. Many minikits rely on you defeating certain enemy vehicles or amounts of troops. To simplify directions, the 18 circles of territory will be codenamed. The first column, from top to bottom, consists of 1-1, 1-2, and 1-3. This naming scheme carries out to the far southeast corner of 6-3.

Do not save and quit in the middle of a level; instead, finish it to the end. There have been reports that doing this will glitch your save and prevent you from earning certain trophies. If you want to take extra precautions, make backups of your saves.

Geonosian Arena

True Jedi: 85,000 Studs

Minikit Character: Darth Sidious (Classic) (275,000 Studs)

The fluff in the opening of the level is cut out in Free Play. Let Jango Fett linger in the air by himself for a while.

To start, use the Dark Force on the two objects surrounding a pole on your left. Use a gun character to grapple onto the two orange pieces that appear, destroying the pole and revealing the first (01/10) Minikit. You can cancel your tumbling animation after grappling by switching characters. Next, look for the orange square hatch on the wall furthest from the camera and use a small character to crawl through it. Surprisingly, Robonino can use these, making him even more useful. Jump up and get the next (02/10) Minikit before dropping down. The third (03/10) Minikit is high above the ground and you need to use the Force on the brown cylindrical pieces to make a staircase in order to get to it. Only Jar Jar Binks can make the jump from the top of your stairs to the collectable.

Next up, grab that good ol' red horned monster in the back of the arena and charge towards the camera. Break five food stands with it to unleash the fourth (04/10) Minikit. Stand here and use your sniper character (likely HELIOS-3D or Aurra Sing) to aim at 10 glowing-green ducks up in the stands. Their associated (05/10) Minikit will automatically be added to your total. Take your beast to the left gate and open it using a bounty hunter. Inside are three treadmills; walk on each until they break to get the next (06/10) Minikit. While you're here, use a character like Hevy to destroy the gold object on the wall. This is one of five of its kind.

Hug the outer rim of the arena and step on flower beds to create plants, then use the Dark Force to plant them as you continue breaking the remaining gold objects on the walls. The five plants and five gold items reward you with two more (08/10) Minikits. Strangely, pieces of C-3PO can be found in one of these gold objects, and building him causes an easily-obtained (09/10) Minikit to appear.

The last (10/10) Minikit is a bit odd. Activate a panel using Robonino (or a Magnaguard) and use the Force to coerce four additional droideka into the electric pen. After finishing the level, you may know the sweet bliss of forever purging an entire LEGO level from your future.

Count Dooku: Battle of Geonosis

True Jedi: 80,000 Studs

Minikit Character: Princess Leia (Classic) (50,000 Studs)

Start off by riding around the map and look for five brown tree-ish objects with orbs at the top of them. You should also look for nine-out-of-ten rocks with crystals jutting out of them. Destroy these 14 items for the first (01/10) Minikit with most progress towards another. Next, look around the map for three enemy vehicles with two big circles on the left and right sides. Break down three of these for another (02/10) Minikit. Another easy (03/10) Minikit to collect is hiding in the cliff walls west of 2-2.

Go to the southwest corner of the map and use the panel there, which activates a 90 second timer. Run over 50 droids using your speeder to get a (04/10) Minikit. Travel to the northwest corner of the map and jump past a small rock so you can get to a crawl hatch. On the other side is the last rock for your fifth (05/10) Minikit. Hit the five buttons as you slide down the slope to get another (06/10) Minikit. Slightly east of here and northwest from 3-1 is a rock. Use the Dark Force on it for yet another (07/10) Minikit. Continue further east and build an astromech panel using pieces on the ground, then use it to summon a car. Follow the stud path around to its end to get its (08/10) Minikit.

In the southeast corner, use the protocol droid panel to activate several orange panels on the ground. Drive over all of them quickly using your speeder for another (09/10) Minikit, then open the (10/10) Minikit dispenser in the northeast corner.

Count Dooku: Gungan General

True Jedi: 180,000 Studs

Minikit Character: Admiral Ackbar (Classic) (50,000 Studs)

For this level, do not destroy any enemy satellites or the torpedo generator in 4-2.

Start off by grabbing a speeder and destroying five enemy speeders, then combe the entire map for ten brown tree-ish objects with orbs at the top of them. One of these trees is far on the ledge southwest of 5-3, and another is set up in the same way southeast of 6-3. Taking care of these will leave you with two (02/10) Minikits. A third (03/10) Minikit is just out in the open near the ledge south of 5-3. Travel southwest of 3-3 and use an enemy droid character to activate a (04/10) Minikit dispenser. Slightly north of there, west of 3-3, use the Dark Force on a rock to obtain another (05/10) Minikit. Finally, go to the north west corner and use a bounty hunter to make a (06/10) Minikit appear. Four more to go.

To the north between 4-1 and 5-1 are three rocks with small fuming holes nearby. Quickly put the rocks on the holes to get another (07/10) Minikit. Northeast of 5-3 is a pile of bricks. Create an astromech panel out of them and use the spaceship that lands to follow a yellow stud trail leading north. Seeing it to the end grants you another (08/10) Minikit. Return to the astromech panel and head northeast. Activate the panel and use the spaceship to hit all of the orange buttons on the floor throughout the battlefield for one more (09/10) Minikit.

To obtain the last (10/10) Minikit, travel to 4-3 and destroy this specific golden torpedo generator.

Count Dooku: Jedi Crash

True Jedi: 75,000 Studs

Minikit Character: Obi-Wan Kenobi (Classic) (50,000 Studs)

Start off by flying around and shooting down five satellite-looking things and five enemy ships, all of which are marked by green arrows and give you a total of two (02/10) Minikits. Next, fly as far as you can to the left and shoot the red sparkling wall of one of the ships with a CIS vehicle. Fly under the (03/10) Minikit behind the wall to collect it. On the right, on the same ship, overheat the golden plating on the side of the hangar entrance. This also contains a (04/10) Minikit. Fly over to the ship on the right and travel away from the camera towards the left side of the ship. This will cause a new landing pad to become available for later.

Now that all four landing pads are open, start with the pad on the left. Break open the metal boxes in the southwest corner and destroy the big droid inside it. This is one of five such droids. After opening the hatch containing this sprinkler's battery, aim rockets at the metal plates above the (05/10) Minikit here so you can safely get to it. Proceed to the upper landing pad - the one that got blown open with a cutscene. Overheat the three golden bathroom stalls to get a (06/10) Minikit. There are no big droids to kill here, so proceed to the second sprinkler landing pad. Drop to the lower level and use the Force on a super battle droid to overheat the top of a golden container, then finish it off and kill the second big droid.

Fly to the third sprinkler. The third big droid should just be floating in the open here. Overheat the golden plating in front of a crawl hatch when you get to the sprinkler's lever and take the (07/10) Minikit outside. When the red Republic cruiser has been caught in a tractor beam, make sure you land on the new landing pad! Overheat the gold block in the southeast corner and use the parts to get down to this pad's (08/10) Minikit. The fourth big droid is in a box in the northwest corner. Save the cruiser and enter the hangar.

Grab a well-earned (09/10) Minikit by killing the last big droid. Next, jump up to the northwest corner with Jar Jar Binks to get the last (10/10) Minikit.

Count Dooku: Defenders of Peace

True Jedi: 100,000 Studs

Minikit Character: Vader's Apprentice (Classic) (275,000 Studs)

Remember that destroying the vehicle located at 6-1 will end the level. Do not touch it until you have all the collectables.

Set up the first base at the start of the level, then look to the cliffs on the right to find the first (01/10) Minikit. Next, drive around on your speeder and destroy ten leafy plants for the next (02/10) Minikit. Four such plants are in the starting area alone. At the area north of 2-1, use the bounty hunter panel to start a 90 second timer. You'll get a (03/10) Minikit if you kill 50 droids within that time, which is easiest done by just running over them with your speeder. The fourth (04/10) Minikit is obtained by destroying three enemy tanks. You are now free to destroy all enemy buildings, but try to keep one shield up so you don't accidentally destroy the target too early.

Approach the area near 3-3 and look to the northwest. Build the pieces to create an astromech panel, then use it and drive the vehicle you get through a stud trail that progresses from white to yellow to blue. You will force a (05/10) Minikit out of hiding by doing so. Southwest of 6-3 is a protocol droid panel that reveals buttons for vehicles. Ride over all of them at a relatively quick pace for another (06/10) Minikit. Drive to the northeast corner of the map and use the Dark Force on a rock to get its (07/10) Minikit, then travel south along the right wall until you find an electric panel. Use it and grapple the clock for another (08/10) Minikit.

The ninth (09/10) Minikit is located at 4-1. Take it over and build three buildings on any space that isn't the one that used to have the droid base on it (easily visible by the grey piece lodged in the ground. Finally, take over enough spaces (which is all of them for this level) to build a (10/10) Minikit dispenser to finish your collection.

Count Dooku: Weapons Factory

True Jedi: 100,000 Studs

Minikit Character: Luke Skywalker (Classic) (50,000 Studs)

Since this level's battle section has three waves and you can't keep fighting after the third round, it's imperative that you collect the battlefield's five minikits as soon as possible. You can do this all within Round 1.

Collect some studs using your multipliers and build anything you want on 1-1, 1-2, and 1-3. At 1-1, however, you need to build three things on any space that isn't the one with a grey top already on it. If done correctly, your first (01/10) Minikit will become available. Move to the panel north of 2-1 and activate it, setting off a 90 second timer. To get your next (02/10) Minikit, just use a speeder to run over 50 droids. Continue taking over positions until you can build a (03/10) Minikit dispenser. Unlock it using a clone and pick it up. Drive to the east and locate a rock formation near 6-2 with a (04/10) Minikit floating above it. Jump to it with Jar Jar Binks. Return to 1-3 and build the astromech panel using the parts on the ground. Drive the car through a loosely connected blue stud path until the last (05/10) Minikit. Finish the battle and start the second half of the mission.

Cut into the cave's opening and immediately look to your right to find a red crystal. Destroy it, as it is one of five required for a minikitt. Carry on forward slightly, blow up a metal spiderweb and walk past to get outside, then use the Force on an egg and take it far up to a nest. The (06/10) Minikit will hatch; make your way up to it to claim it for yourself. Smack the second crystal as you approach the first triangle puzzle. After setting the triangles in place, wait until the door on the right opens. Activate the astromech panel and wait for a droid to stop dancing, then take its (07/10) Minikit interior. You should find the third crystal on your way to the next triangle puzzle.

Wait for the door on the right to open once again and grapple the shower curtain open, then take the (08/10) Minikit in the rightmost stall. The last two crystals are within the last hall and room; these will count towards the ninth (09/10) Minikit. When fighting the tank, look around the room for five yellow plus-shaped contraptions with blinking lights. They'll flip around when you approach them; use the Force on all five to get the last (10/10) Minikit. You should be able to avoid dealing with the tank if you use Cad Bane to throw detonators at the core while he's hovering in the air.

Count Dooku: Legacy of Terror

True Jedi: 130,000 Studs

Minikit Character: Darth Vader (Classic) (275,000 Studs)

Starting with the right side, grapple the statue above the checkered floor for a (01/10) Minikit. Next, on the right side, use the Dark Force on the wall near the coloured blocks to reveal a pattern for them. If you arrange these blocks in such a way, their (02/10) Minikit will appear. (Spoiler: This kinda sucks.) Blow up the metal block at the top of the steps and rebuild it into a metal undead Geonosian. This is the first of five. Enter the cave and hug the left corner after breaking down the first barrier made of LEGO boulders. A statue should pop out to scare you; hit it and keep an eye out for four more down the path. Approach the astromech panel on your left when you reach the wall that can be destroyed by grappling. When you approach the panel, two more Geonosian statues should pop out of the wall, eager to be broken. Use the panel and pass through the rocks, then fix a railway at ground level. Pull the lever to make a (03/10) Minikit stop for you. Break and rebuild the second metal Geonosian in here before returning to the main path.

Pull the wall down, then overheat the four triangular golden pieces stuck in the wall. Keep going and hug the left wall once again to make the fourth statue show up. Go back up the path and use the digging robot you make from the ensuing pieces to press a button on the ground up ahead. Continue to the end of the path to find a (04/10) Minikit and the third metal Geonosian. Cut through the stone wall with your lightsaber and hug the right side for the last statue, rewarding you with a (05/10) Minikit.

Drop down the hole near the statue you have to rebuild, then head to the right and blow up the metal discs on the spiderweb. Use the Dark Force on the pieces on the ground to create a meal for the bug-like droid above you. It'll drop you a (05/10) Minikit as payment. On the left side of the hall, use an electric panel to open up a hidden room. The fourth metal Geonosian is here. Use the Force on the four crystals in the corners of the room, then receive a (06/10) Minikit present from inside your cake. Happy birthday!

When fighting the Geonosian queen, you can find the last metal Geonosian on the upper left ledge. This, of course, will give you a (07/10) Minikit. Switch to your rocket clone trooper after finishing the battle. You need to destroy metal Geonosian eggs throughout the escape. Fortunately, they appear in the order of right-left-right-left-right, which is easy to remember, but the (08/10) Minikit appears above the last egg. Make sure you take it! The last (10/10) Minikit is found between the two checkered walls at the end of the level.

General Grievous: Duel of the Droids

True Jedi: 110,000 Studs

Minikit Character: Han Solo (Classic) (50,000 Studs)

Get past the door on your left with an electric character, then crawl through a hatch and kill three droids for their (01/10) Minikit. There's a lot to keep track of from now on: You need to kill five mouse droids, break three golden blocks, assemble five golden super battle droids, and destroy five sets of mugs. The mugs and droids are hidden behind the brown-ish panels in the walls; hit them to open them. Some Dark Force panels along the walls may be hiding mouse droids, while others simply roam around naturally. It may be easier to kill these by throwing a thermal detonator in their direction. Whack the walls prior to entering the first circular room to find the first gold droid; put it together, then open the hatch opposite it for the first mouse droid. At the far end of the hall, closest to the camera, you can find your first pair of mugs. The first gold block to overheat is in the first circular room. Whew!

The second set of mugs is in the next hallway. Use the protocol droid panel to cause two beach balls to roll out. Destroy these two; there are three left to go. Break the second gold block while in the second circular room. Travel through the entirety of the next hall and find two more sets of mugs and the second gold droid. Use the protocol droid panel in this hall to reach two more beach balls. In the third circular room, take care of the last gold block to get that (02/10) Minikit off your plate. Find two more gold droids in the following hall, as well as the third protocol door for your third (03/10) Minikit.

Note: You are immediately pulled out of this section of the level when you plant the four bombs. Don't do so until you're all ready to go!

When the path splits, you should find enough Dark Force panels in both halls to account for all mouse droids; if they haven't appeared, try looking behind you to see if they have spawned without you knowing about it. Either way, these give you a (04/10) Minikit, as expected. The hall on the right, in particular, also contains the last pair of mugs and the last golden droid. This should leave you with six (06/10) Minikits.

Character 1: Get Grievous to run away and run up to the upper right corner of the room. When he leaves, hover to the left and use an electric panel to get to the (07/10) Minikit stuck in a vent.

Character 2: Approach your bomb's location and use the Dark Force on a panel on the wall. Behind it are two barrels with pieces of the eighth (08/10) Minikit inside. Build the bomb and activate the astromech panel to transition into the hangar.

Check out the southeast corner of the hangar and use the Dark Force on some hatches. Build a UFO from the parts you find and drive over the six orange panels in the floor, granting you another (09/10) Minikit. When facing off against R3, jump up into a square hole. Push the two grapple points along the checkered floor so they line up with the centre of the lanes, then pull the lever to set up the pins. If you get one strike, you get a (10/10) Minikit; if both lanes get strikes, 10 blue studs will appear as a treat. You may skip the torpedo wall by using Cad Bane to hover around it (or a Jedi's double jump).

General Grievous: Shadow of Malevolence

True Jedi: 190,000 Studs

Minikit Character: Lando Calrissian (Classic) (50,000 Studs)

There are five enemy ships marked with a green arrow and markers. Destroy them to get the first (01/10) Minikit. Near the first landing pad (at the bottom of the ship), overheat a hard-to-see golden plating that's supporting a platform up. This too carries a (02/10) Minikit. Fly up to the second level and head over to the big laser over to the right. Every once in a while, a panel slightly right of the upper centre of the laser will open, revealing some metal. Blow it up with missiles for a (03/10) Minikit. Finally, for the fourth flying (04/10) Minikit at the lower level, use a CIS vehicle to destroy the red sparkling object far to the left. To get it, fly towards it and perform a cn_LSucn_LSu flip.

Land at the lower landing pad and walk to the upper left corner, then grapple a box. Jump up to where it was with Jar Jar Binks, then jump again to the next (05/10) Minikit. Next, go right towards a rocket. Use the Dark Force on the object here and use the panel behind it, then take off and hit the rocket while flying to get the (06/10) Minikit inside it. Break into the upper right landing pad and use the protocol panel on the right side. Pull the plug on the pool and use the bouncy diving board to get to the pool's (07/10) Minikit. Now head to the upper left corner and grapple two plunk droids out of a blue container. There are five orange buttons on the ground, and they deactivate a few seconds after you ride a plunk on them. Put one of the droids on one of the end buttons, then ride the second across the remaining four buttons as fast as you can. A (08/10) Minikit should pop up when all five buttons are green at once.

Proceed to the last remaining platform; the one to the left. Use the Force on the three red garbage cans and put them on the purple floor to empty them out. Taking out the trash will grant you one (09/10) Minikit. Next, go to the upper right corner and use an explosive on the wiring between this rocket and its panel. Grapple the proper wire into place and send the rocket, obviously holding a (10/10) Minikit, inside.

General Grievous: Destroy Malevolence

True Jedi: 80,000 Studs

Minikit Character: Wedge Antilles (Classic) (50,000 Studs)

Walk to the right and use a clone to get into a secret room. Walk to the south and use the Dark Force on the orange circle to rotate inner plates of the contraption in front of you. Try to get the (01/10) Minikit encased in metal to the centre of the puzzle so you can get to it. Once you have it, break the boxes to the right and use the Dark Force on the washing machine that appears. This is one of five that will continue to appear throughout the level. Get to the railway station and grapple the two orange pegs underneath the stairs. You should be able to grab a (02/10) Minikit for having both active at once. Hover to the protocol droid panel in the northeast corner of the area. The second washing machine is here as well. Use the panel and break a gold boxing glove that pops out for another (03/10) Minikit. Stop the second train car and destroy the metal crate on it so you can build an astromech panel. This will raise a nice little blue box. Set up the crane using the third train and make it break the box open, then go and fly over to the (04/10) Minikit you just released. Place the loose train piece down, then hover over to a button from the top of the stairs leading out of here. Break the lid on the fan open with explosives, then press the button and ride the air to another (05/10) Minikit. Before walking into the next area, hover south from the exit and drop down to a lower platform. The third washing machine is in one of the boxes here. The level splits into two after this.

Character 1: Defeat the vulture droid and get to the room with the torpedos. Wipe out all the droids and fire rockets at the five metal objects at the end of spikes throughout the room for a (06/10) Minikit. One of these five is hidden beneath the walkway on the left. The fourth washing machine can also be found in this room. When Grievous enters the room, your next goal is to throw five droideka at him. You can easily disable their shields by using an astromech's cn_X zap ability; then, when their shields are off, throw them at Grievous. Do this five times for a (07/10) Minikit.

Character 2: As you progress out of the first hallway, you will generate a (08/10) Minikit by placing three colourful pieces into the right places. The last washing machine is in the bridge; destroy it for its (09/10) Minikit. Use the electric panel on the left side of the bridge to get one last (10/10) Minikit.

General Grievous: Lair of Grievous

True Jedi: 125,000 Studs

Minikit Character: Rebel Commando (Classic) (50,000 Studs)

Walk to the left and fire at a golden rock until it explodes to get the first (01/10) Minikit. Break the two metal plates outside the front door, then go to the ship a MagnaGuard blows up. Use the Dark Force on it to create a panel that brings the (02/10) Minikit inside a bug out into the open. Inside the building are some red levers you can mess with using the Dark Force. Use it on three such levers in this dark hallway and break the machinery they're hooked up to. There are ten total. Next, when you're just barely near two lamps, hit them with a lightsaber or blaster. There are ten of these as well. To keep track of these more easily, hit them again to destroy them completely. There are four more lamps in the circular room just up ahead. Hover to the left in this same room and break into the room there. Pull a lever on the right side to light up a pool table, then place the balls in their similarly coloured holes. You may use the lever as many times you like so long as you get the (03/10) Minikit.

Continue down the hall and deal with more red levers, bringing your total to seven out of ten. Activate the three panels in the room to build a vehicle and a button for it; perform the obvious for another (04/10) Minikit. After defeating Grievous the first time, proceed to the next room and break the last four lamps to get a (05/10) Minikit. The eighth red lever is here as well. Stand on the two buttons to make the floor collapse, then face the lava (and camera) to the south and use the Dark Force on two or three platforms. Use these to reach a (06/10) Minikit and proceed into the next room.

In the monster's circular room, head to the south and overheat the three gold locks on the ground. Hit them until they count to your total. There are seven more of these outside. Next, use the electric panel to the northwest for another (07/10) Minikit. Go outside and clear out the last of the red levers for the eighth (08/10) Minikit. Continue throughout the landing pad and wipe out the remaining gold lock objects for their (09/10) Minikit. Use the Force to move the inactive lights from the machine on the left to the one on the right, then push the battery over to these machines and plug the lights in, causing it to explode. Take the last (10/10) Minikit from its remains.

General Grievous: Rookies

True Jedi: 80,000 Studs

Minikit Character: Darth Maul (Classic) (275,000 Studs)

Blow up the structure the droids are attacking you on, then use the Force on a box with yellow arrows to release pieces for a sucking machine. Use it to clean up the glowing plants on the ground to make a (01/10) Minikit appear next to the box. Walk up to the doorway and use the Force on a small piece on the left to close a leak coming out of the building. Open the door using pieces from the metal boxes and use the crane to drop to the lower area, as proceeding into the facility progresses the level. Knock down the big worm's health so it moves to the left and use the Dark Force to get past some boulders. Move the worm's eggs in this cave onto an incubator and activate it using an electric character to hatch them. They'll treat you with their (02/10) Minikit. Go back outside and then blow up metal rocks up and to the left of the incubator cave. Spin some toys above three cradles by grappling to them and finish up the worm's tasks, once again earning another (03/10) Minikit.

Defeat the worm using explosives and use a lightsaber to cut into a third cave to the right of the worm's body. The adolescent worm in here wants food; fling junk in the cave at its mouth until it's satisfied, causing the next (04/10) Minikit to appear. As you climb upwards after jumping from the mother worm's back, put the second lever back into place. Use an electric panel past the first golden object, then use an astromech or IG droid. The fifth (05/10) Minkit will burst out of the nearby computer. The third lever is next to some golden boulders a little more to the right. Run inside the building after destroying said boulders and get to the next area. The characters split up; one is inside the central room and another is past a barrier.

Outer Hallway: Run to the right and hit a small blue machine, then grapple it to destroy it. This is the first of five. Throughout this entire hallway going forward are six golden crates sealing a small box of valuables. Break them open and destroy the contents inside them for a (06/10) Minikit. Take the plunk droid out of the large gold object and put it on a button near where you started, then keep going left with it and grapple another blue machine.

Central Room: Use the Dark Force on a set of black bars and walk through the place they were keeping shut. Use the panel on a hot tub and grab the (07/10) Minikit it was hiding, then put the fourth valve back into place. Pull a lever next to a satellite to free a (08/10) Minikit on the outer bridge. To get this one, you need to have your other character next to it so the box it's in doesn't shut itself. Return to the central room and grapple the machine on the balcony, then fix the lever up here. The fifth lever is resting on the centre console in the central room as well. Fixing this last one pushes out the second-to-last (09/10) Minikit. The fourth blue machine is next to the remaining plunk droid and the last is cleverly hidden "south" of the central console. From the middle of the room, run towards the screen to find the final machine for your (10/10) Minikit. The level ends when the last plunk droid reaches its button.

General Grievous: Grievous Intrigue

True Jedi: 60,000 Studs

Minikit Character: Boba Fett (Classic) (100,000 Studs)

Use the Force on the respawning boxes and move them around until you can aim them at the glass between you and the camera. Do this five times for the first (01/10) Minikit to appear. Next, destroy the gold object next to the blue glowing circle further back in the room. Pull the lever you can build from its pieces and pick up the only other (02/10) Minikit in this small area. You can defeat Grievous easily by just lobbing thermal detonators at him instead of taking time with the boxes. Your team will be split up for this next part.

Character 1: Use a thermal detonator on the silver top on a capsule in the room you start out in. Shoot the plant that comes out of it and take its (03/10) Minikit before going to the next room (the first with a shield barrier). Break the first set of boxes you see as you ascend and use the Force to put it back where it belongs. This is one of five such valves. The second is in the metal box higher up from here. Two more are in the hallway leading up to the second shielded room, and in this room are three small gold plates to destroy. Two are in the upper right corners of the blue shield and the third is in a corner of the red shield. A (04/10) Minikit appears after breaking all three. The last valve is just past the blue shield after you deactivate it, and you should get the fifth (05/10) Minikit after this.

It'll be easier to navigate the bridge of the Invisible Hand when the droids are gone, so jump to the right side and use the Force to put a block in a hole they're coming out of. Next, break a seat-like thing on the left side of the raised area near the camera and build its pieces on top of the second hole from left. The hole on the far left is powered by a plug you can simply pull out by walking to it and using the Force. Throw your lightsaber on the malfunctioning panel on the right above the middle of the bridge to make it fall on the last hole, granting you another (06/10) Minikit. The gold plating on the right side of the room is also hiding a (07/10) Minikiit. Rescue Eeth Koth to end this path.

Character 2: Just defeat Grievous and get to the next split, which puts you in a spacecraft. Follow the green arrow markers and destroy the five ships they're marking to get a (08/10) Minikit out of it. Carry on and land at the marked location to help Character 1 out.

Character 1: Get up the path and run to the right to get to the hangar. Stack the purple boxes on the left as you come in so they form a staircase, then jump up them and grab the (09/10) Minikit that appears. You can get the last (10/10) Minikit by using an explosive on some bars blocking a panel in the southeast corner of the hangar, then activating it with electricity. Switch to Character 2 and hit the spacecraft it's in once to send it into the lower left corner of your screen.

Asajj Ventress: The Hidden Enemy

True Jedi: 100,000 Studs

Minikit Character: Greedo (Classic) (70,000 Studs)

There are ten purple desks with computer screens that drop down when you use the Force on them. Destroying all ten gives you a minikit, so you need to start paying attention right away. The first desk is in the starting room in the back. Use the crawl hatch to get to a hidden room with two more desks. Put the plug in the outlet closest to the camera for the first tangible (01/10) Minikit of the level. Continue to the next room and slam down that big door the droids are coming from, then hit the fourth desk, which is in this room. Put the plug in and walk left to the next room to find the fifth desk. Hug the left side of the room to find the second (02/10) Minikit; fly over to it and come back to take care of the droid problem. Both characters need to be on the elevator for it to go up.

Shut the droids off by pressing both buttons on the ground, then use the Dark Force on the four engine-like structures here on the roof. Turning them on grants you a (03/10) Minikit. Next, pull out a sniper character and hit the big green glowing droids on the buildings in the distance. These give you a (04/10) Minikit as well, and so does using the bounty hunter panel in the southwest. You should have five (05/10) Minikits before entering the Republic gunship.

The sixth desk is in the room once you load in. Use the protocol panel on the right to find the seventh desk. You should also use the Force to plug in an air compressor into a machine at an abandoned birthday party. Break the Darth Vader balloons from each location in the machine for a (06/10) Minikit. Fight Ventress off in the first room you encounter her in, then clear out the two desks in this chamber before you cut your way into the library. Kick her out of here, then destroy the last desk in the northwest corner for this evasive (07/10) Minikit. Before you leave, check both northern corners for purple books laying on the ground and put them away using the Force. Take the (08/10) Minikit you get for cleaning the place up.

Once you make a path up for yourself from the pit Ventress forces you into, use the Dark Force on two small red levers on the sides of the pit. Both levers bring a car out into the open; drive them both onto the buttons in the library for another (09/10) Minikit. The final (10/10) Minikit can be earned during the final fight with Ventress as you plummet with her toward the ground. Simply destroy ten super battle droids to make it appear.

Asajj Ventress: Ambush!

True Jedi: 70,000 Studs

Minikit Character: Darth Vader Battle Damaged (Classic) (275,000 Studs)

Throw your lightsaber or fire at the four nozzles on your crashed pod and pry it open with the Force and a grapple. Take the (01/10) Minikit inside and carry on to the right. Take care of the two sets of metal so the big purple wall collapses, then run toward the screen and hit the light peach-colored rock. This is actually a hermit crab, of which there are five. Smack it again to make it count towards your total. Use the Force on three purple plants to your left as you pass through the first hallway and use them to get to a higher ledge. Use an astromech (or Cad Bane if he's with you) to cross the gap and get to the right side. Push the crate over and build a big purple crab from its pieces, then use it to bop the tiny pink crab just a bit towards the camera to the left. Backtrack with this crab all the way to the beginning and hit more crabs as you go. You should get four crabs total; ride it towards the end of the hall to find the fifth crab, rewarding you with a (02/10) Minikit.

Use the Dark Force on the purple blocks before you start chopping away at the gold rocks. Use these as stairs to enter a cave, then jump on the mushrooms in the order or yellow-red-green for a (03/10) Minikit. While you're in here, attack the purple plant in this cave and hit the snake underneath it. There are four more of these. Enter the next area and hover over to the right to find an astromech panel. Using it opens up a cave. Double-grapple the lobster-y being inside and take its (04/10) Minikit. Drop down to the ground and kill the second hermit crab. Get rid of the first tank, then shoot out the golden plans blocking another cave on your left. Use the Force on glowing rocks to heckle a crab out of his (05/10) Minikit savings. The second snake is under a similar plant here.

Break the second tank, then look near an electric panel for some plants to use the Dark Force on. You guessed it, it's another cave. There are three more purple snakes hiding under plants here, meaning all five can be killed for their (06/10) Minikit at this point. Break the silver and gold objects on the walls, then use the Force on the discs on the left wall to get up to a black crystal. Knock it down to the ground so all three are at your level, then move them to be in front of the golden discs. These will shine light on the centre of the cave, revealing an incredibly powerful artefact. Grapple it open and get your treasure, a (07/10) Minikit, of course, but don't look directly at it.

Use the electric panel outside and build a platform, then make one character stand on it so you can raise them to the next (08/10) Minikit. You can find the last three hermit crabs hiding in this arena; kill them to get another (09/10) Minikit. Finally, there are some dark purple plants to the right (near the hole droideka can be pushed into). Destroy them and build their pieces into a crab, who will get its (10/10) Minikit for you. Defeating the five droideka ends the level.

Asajj Ventress: Blue Shadow Virus

True Jedi: 210,000 Studs

Minikit Character: Clone Shadow Trooper (50,000 Studs)

There are six red dark force furniture items near the water's edge that can only be pulled up with the Dark Force. Destroy them for a (01/10) Minikit, but also be on the lookout for carrots you can pull from the ground. Destroying five of these gives you another (02/10) Minikit, and you get the third (03/10) Minikit by destroying those droid-dispensing alarm poles throughout the starting area. In the back, past the first dispenser platform, break a golden statue and use the pieces to build a lawnmower. Run over the tall grass that appears for a fourth (04/10) Minikit. Only drop into the base after you have these four minikits. The team will split up, but since the gunship character joins with the hallway one, we'll just consider their short journey an isolated one.

Gunship: Use the astromech panel to extend a net out into the air. After doing enough of a lap around the shielded cover, you'll get a (05/10) Minikit. The gold material in these halls only produce studs. Drop to the hallway character to meet up.

As you use the Force to shut down doors generating droids, use the Force on them again to bring the purple piece back up to the top. Do this to the two doors in the hall before moving into the room with two droid panels. Use both of them twice to spawn a (06/10) Minikit. After breaking the machinery above those droid panels, you'll end up in a different hallway. Do the same thing you did with the droid doors as before to get their (07/10) Minikit, then continue until you see two droideka with red shields. Use the protocol panel to their left and enter a secret cantina. Prop up the red dispenser behind the counter, then move the cup on the table using the Force. Pull the lever next to the jukebox to pour a drink. Take it back to the MagnaGuard and receive your payment: a (08/10) Minikit. The last two collectables are found in the twin boss battles (not the easy one where you just throw things on the ground).

Droid Battle: Go through the crawl space and use a lightsaber to scale the checkered walls. This battle's (09/10) Minikit is at the top of both.

Nuvo Vindi Battle: Finish the droid battle first so your co-op partner appears in this battle. Have both characters grapple onto the ship to push a (10/10) Minikit out of it.

Asajj Ventress: Storm Over Ryloth

True Jedi: 70,000 Studs

Minikit Character: Qui-Gon Jinn (Classic) (50,000 Studs)

We will begin by taking care of more vehicle-oriented minikits first. Look around and follow the green arrows to destroy five marked vehicles for the first (01/10) Minikit. Next, use missiles to destroy the two ships early (if you want). Land at the lower right landing pad and enter the turrets inside, then move your cursor over 10 vulture droids and destroy them for another (02/10) Minikit. Break the metal box in this room and set up an astromech panel with its pieces; this will release the next (03/10) Minikit, which you'll have to pick up outside now.

As you approach the northern landing pad, use rapid fire on all of the gold things at the front of the ship to reveal their (04/10) Minikit, then land at the northern landing. Go through the crawl space to get the jingling (05/10) Minikit under the floor, then land at the southwest station. Walk south and use an electric panel to cause four vehicle buttons to appear. Take control of a vulture droid and walk on all four to get their (06/10) Minikit. Destroy the two enemy ships if you haven't already, then head to the upper half of the ship.

Switch to a CIS ship and shoot the red sparkly object east of the landing pad to get a (07/10) Minikit. The eighth (08/10) Minikit is high up in the distance and can be reached with Jar Jar. In the bridge, grapple the machinery on your right, then use the Dark Force to build a button. Stand on it and get the ninth (09/10) Minikit, then overheat the golden door on the left. Take the (10/10) Minikit inside and pull the lever at the other end of the bridge to cause two more CIS ships to appear. Destroy them and return to pull the other lever to end the level.

Asajj Ventress: Innocents of Ryloth

True Jedi: 105,000 Studs

Minikit Character: Captain Antilles (Classic) (50,000 Studs)

Be on the lookout for plants with pink flowers. The first of five is in the southeast corner of the starting area. After destroying the rock wall, carry on and break a black box with a red line near the top. It will be west of a protocol droid panel, and it too is the first of five. Use the protocol droid panel to enter a classroom and use the Force to write and solve a multiplication question. Your new students will give you a (01/10) Minikit. Backtrack a little bit and jump to a roof on the right side of the hall using Jar Jar. Use the Dark Force to clean a chimney - a third set of five to keep track of. The second pink flower is slightly past the mech you call in by satellite. Look at the rooftops as you drive it forward to find the next three chimneys to sweep, as well as two black boxes on the rooftops on the left.

Break through the metal gate and jump to the right for the last chimney, granting you a (02/10) Minikit. You can also destroy the remaining pink flower plants for the next (03/10) Minikit. Finally, the fourth (04/10) Minikit is yours after you break the remaining black boxes here. Use the mech to jump to the bounty hunter panel on the right side of the arena for another (05/10) Minikit, then head inside.

Pull the lever on your left and break the door handle for the cell near you. Fix the piping to get a (06/10) Minikit. Proceed as usual and cut open the wall to get the box out. The next (07/10) Minikit is behind where the box was. Fix the flooring and move the box over to a crawl space hatch to get its (08/10) Minikit, then go outside.

Run to the left and destroy the pile of gold blocks on the left. Jump to the (09/10) Minikit behind them, then fire a rocket at the metal objects east of the metal cannon on the left. Use the Dark Force to send the last (10/10) Minikit down to your level using a magnifying glass.

Asajj Ventress: Liberty on Ryloth

True Jedi: 195,000 Studs

Minikit Character: Stormtrooper (Classic) (50,000 Studs)

Begin by driving around and destroying five leafy plants for the first (01/10) Minikit, as well as ten grey rocks. You can destroy eight of these rocks now; we'll get to the last two after the bridge is up. There's also a (02/10) Minikit just floating in the open near 1-3, but it's hidden behind the cliff wall. Next, focus on destroying three enemy tanks for a (03/10) Minikit. South of 4-3 is a protocol droid panel that summons buttons for your speeder to run over. Doing so causes the fifth (04/10) Minikit to appear.

In the northeast and near 6-1 is a bounty hunter panel that starts a timer that requires you to kill 50 droids within 90 seconds. Run them over to get the next (05/10) Minikit. Drive to the southeast corner and use the Dark Force on a rock to get another (06/10) Minikit, then head to the area north of 4-1. Crawl through the crawl space and use the Dark Force on the giant Darth Vader head, grab the (07/10) Minikit, and break the ninth grey rock to the left of the hatch. Drive to the northwest corner. Build a machine out of the pieces to summon an elephant, then ride through the blue stud path to make another (08/10) Minikit appear.

As you take over the battlefield, don't forget to build a minikit dispenser to get your well-earned ninth (09/10) Minikit. When the bridge is up, destroy the final grey rock and take the last (10/10) Minikit.

Epilogue: The Zillo Beast

True Jedi: 300,000 Studs

Minikit Character: Chewbacca (Classic) (50,000 Studs)

To start, drive around the entire field and destroy five rocks with pink plants on them for the first (01/10) Minikit, as well as ten solid blue rocks for the second (02/10) Minikit. Next, focus on destroying six enemy tanks for a (03/10) Minikit. There's a (04/10) Minikit floating high above the ground between 2-1 and 3-2. If you drive under it with a speeder, you should get it, but Jar Jar may also be able to jump to it. South of 3-3 is an electric panel that activates orange buttons to race over with a speeder. You will need invincibility or to destroy the electrical tower in 4-3 to finish the race. Your prize is a (05/10) Minikit.

North of 5-1 are a bunch of pieces. Build them and use the machine to summon an ice cream truck. Drive the truck west and follow a stud trail that leads a bit to the west near the pipeline, causing another (06/10) Minikit. Return to where you built the pieces just before and use the Force to move two blinking yellow parts to the sides on the left and right. Jump up to the resulting (07/10) Minikit. Finally, drive to the southeast corner and use the Dark Force on a rock for an easy (08/10) Minikit. Use the bounty hunter panel to start a timer that requires you to kill 50 droids within 90 seconds. Just run them over for quick kills and grab the ninth (09/10) Minikit.

The last (10/10) Minikit comes when you eventually take over enough spaces to build a minikit dispenser. Don't forget to build it!

Separatists: Hostage Crisis

True Jedi: 80,000 Studs

Minikit Character: Tusken Raider (Classic) (50,000 Studs)

This mission's Free Play mode skips the sniping section. Start by using the Force to fix the ship immediately on your right and grab the (01/10) Minikit it was parked on top of. Next, run to the left to find a similar ship and jump onto it with Jar Jar Binks. He is also the only one who can get the (02/10) Minikit floating above the ship. Kill the three clones cleaning this ship, then the two on a much smaller ship to the right to earn another (03/10) Minikit. Between these sets of clones to the south is a machine you can build that, when used, drops a vehicle down for you. Use it to shoot at the smaller ship until it's entirely destroyed. The vehicle you're using does have a recharge timer on its missiles, so it may require a few short breaks. Destroying the whole thing nets you a (04/10) Minikit. Break into the building through the usual means (clone troopers can bypass the senate commando panels).

There five ice cream machines throughout the hall that can be activated with the Force. As expected, the fifth (05/10) Minikit is tied to these. The mouse droids, of which there are five, can also be destroyed for another (06/10) Minikit. These can be hard to hit, so try to use explosives for a larger damage radius. Crawl through a crawl space near one of the ice cream cone machines near the second room and pick up the (07/10) Minikit taunting you with its jingling. Continue to the right and carve through a door so you can pull a hidden lever. Fly out to the (08/10) Minikit you can now reach, then move east past the lever to an astromech panel caged in gold. Use your clones to give three commandos in the next room over a new hairstyle, then take their (09/10) Minikit.

With the hallway cleared out, carry on like usual and use the Dark Force in the second room to reveal a lever. It won't work until this room has power. Pull it and pull the lever next to the screen that comes on, then press the button on the ground when you want your favourite adventurer to jump on-screen. You will receive the last (10/10) Minikit when he reaches the end of his journey. Finish the small puzzle in the next room to be done with the level.

Separatists: Castle of Doom

True Jedi: 85,000 Studs

Minikit Character: Imperial Guard (Classic) (50,000 Studs)

Grapple to the chandelier above you and build a purple floor out of its pieces, then use the Force to place the three nearby crates of food onto the floor to break it. You'll get one (01/10) Minikit for this. Next, attack Jabba himself three times until he coughs up the pieces for the next (02/10) Minikit. Break all the metal food coverings closer to the camera, then jump on all the table buttons in quick succession. Grab the third (03/10) Minikit and break the metal object near the broken door to build a black droid. This is one of five you need to build. Proceed to the feasting room and overheat the golden bars, then build the pieces inside to make a purple floor just like the one you'd normally put the burger on. Place it here instead and jump to the (04/10) Minikit above it with Jar Jar Binks.

There are two golden objects in the room with the parked vehicle that have parts for two more droids. Break them, then look behind the broken vehicle for two red lights hanging from a pole. Hit it with a lightsaber or blaster bolt, then aim up to the pole again to hit that. You get a (05/10) Minikit for destroying all five in this room, with the other four being down the hall. You still need to fix the vehicle to get outside.

Break the padlock one of the guards put on your vehicle and pull a (06/10) Minikit out from the wreckage. Travel southwest until you find another set of droid pieces, this time encased in metal. When you build it, look north and break the skull on the ground, one of ten necessary. A second skull is on the east side of the area. Break the golden wall to the south so you can reach where you'd normally be for the story at this point (the area with the cuttable wall to the west). Build the two vehicles. The third skull is at the south near a bottomless pit and the fourth is near where you build the larger speeder. The fifth is to the right of the two vehicle buttons; make sure you don't miss this one! Finally, when you're up past the boulder staircase, use the crawl space to get to the next (07/10) Minikit.

Drive around the perimeter of the desert area to find the remaining five skulls and one droid object. This should leave you with nine (09/10) Minikits. For the last (10/10) Minikit, use the astromech panel to the far left and drive the vehicle inside through a course of buttons at a rather fast pace before the buttons reset themselves.
