Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition HD Walkthrough

6. Chapter 4 - Dark Clouds

Chapter 4 is pretty straightforward without too many difficult trophies.

Our first area is the Wiz Chocobo Post and a map can be found below:

You'll be able to see the two ingredients on the map, but can't reach the one farther to the top just yet. For now, we'll grab the cactuar statues, do the treasure hunt, and nab one other trophy before proceeding. The cactuar statues can be found below:

1 - The statue can be found in the chocobo pen on the right side of the area, all the way in the back:

2 - The statue can be found in the back of the pavilion sort of building on the right side, right underneath the baby chocobo on the roof:

3 - The statue can be found on the logs on the left side of the area:

4 - The statue can be found on the back of the yellow truck near the "front" of the area:

Next up we'll tackle the treasure hunt:

1 - The first treasure can be dug up between the bales of hay and the truck (which is partially hidden behind a tree):

2 - The second treasure is found just in front of the silo with the 3 barrels in front of it:

3 - The third and final treasure is found in front of the logs behind the previous silo (right next to where cactuar statue 3 was found):

For the last objective in this area, talk to all chocobos that have the interaction diamond icon above their head. There's a bunch of them in the area, so make sure you find them all! Once interacting with the last one, you'll pop a trophy for your work:

No wrong way to love a Chocobo in Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition HD
Bronze Trophy
Completed all Chocobo interactions at Wiz Chocobo post. (Secret)
  • Unlocked by 219 tracked gamers (38% - TT Ratio = 1.63) 582

We're now ready to leave the outpost and make our way North. Make sure you grab the ingredient along the way! You'll have to interact with the shed next to the lake and it'll pick up the ingredient automatically.

As you continue to make your way forward, make sure you take the right path as you cross over the road and battle the cactuars. Doing this will not only get you some extra AP, but set you up for a miniboss battle in the next area that grants you even more AP!

We next find ourselves in Alstor Slough:

Move forward through the area a little bit and you'll end up in a battle against the Iron Giant. After taking it down to about half health, you'll see a cutscene and the battle will end.

This area is pretty much just battle after battle, but after you pass the outpost, take the path to the right. It's almost hidden, but if you use the map, you should be able to find it. As you continue up the path, a Gigantuar will pop up in a cutscene and you'll take it on in battle.

---

In the next section, you'll be riding a chocobo to the next area. You'll see a new icon in the bottom right corner of the screen:

This icon tells your chocobo to jump, which can be used to hop over obstacles in the path. Rather than jump over obstacles on your own, wait for the chocobo to jump on its own and then hit the button while in the air. This will cause your chocobo to double jump instead. If you hit all of them successfully (it's fairly easy as long as you're paying attention), you'll pop the next trophy:

Duscae Derby in Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition HD
Bronze Trophy
Double jumped over all obstacles in a chocobo riding level. (Secret)
  • Unlocked by 195 tracked gamers (34% - TT Ratio = 1.72) 582

If you miss one of the double jumps for any reason, there's another chocobo section later in the chapter, so you'll have another opportunity for it.

---

We next go to Fociaugh Hollow for the next trial:

The area is very straightforward, but make sure you get both of the ingredients along the way!

At the end of the area, you'll face Naga. There's a trophy for completing the battle without taking any damage from poison, which is a bit tricky. Whenever Naga shakes a bit and dives underground, a pool of green poison will show up where it dove. Anyone standing in this area will take poison damage. I found that using Armiger and/or Royal Arms can get you stuck in animations and you may be unable to avoid the poison. What I'd recommend for this is to just use regular attacks and whenever you see Naga shake and begin to dive, just run away. Your allies will continue attacking and take poison damage, so go to the menu and use potions as needed. Once Naga surfaces again, you can attack again as normal. If you're finding this difficult, it may be worth revisiting this chapter later after you've leveled up further and the battle will go quicker since you'll do more damage. Once you take down Naga without taking any damage from poison, you'll get another trophy:

Silver Trophy
Defeated the Naga without being poisoned. (Secret)
  • Unlocked by 184 tracked gamers (32% - TT Ratio = 1.77) 582

After finishing out the dungeon, you'll get your next story-based trophy:

Divine Intervention in Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition HD
Bronze Trophy
Summoned one of the Six for the first time. (Secret)
  • Unlocked by 259 tracked gamers (45% - TT Ratio = 1.49) 582

We now have our next chocobo-riding section, so make sure you hit all of the double jumps if you missed it earlier!

---

We're now in our last area of the chapter: Aracheole Stronghold:

External image

This area is about as straightforward as it gets. There's a bunch of warp-strikes you're encouraged to do in order to take out the enemies, though you do have a fairly long battle in the middle of it before the boss battle against MA-X Maniple. After taking down the boss, head back to grab the Regalia and the group will end up back in Lestallum through cutscenes, bringing the chapter to an end.
