CHAPTER 7 - FATE OF THE CRYSTAL - THE ENDLESS BATTLE

Expert Trial - Operation Sticky Fingers - Level 46

The empires continues its desperate struggle to repel the dominion's fierve offensive at Cetme. During this battle, dominion troops discover an officer believed to possess valuable infortmation. Class Zero must send a squad of four to Cetme to locate the officer and secure said intel.

Expert Trial - Secret Agents Zero - Level 46

The dominion has lost contact with the recon team surveilling the empire. Suspecting that the empire is up to something, Dominion Intel requests that Central Command send a unit to investigate. Thus, Class Zero must head for Mt. Klimov to inspect the area of any suspicious imperial activity.

Expert Trial - The Climactic Clash at Azurr - Level 48

The dominion army is advancing on the empire's last line of defense. Central Command dispatches almost its entire force to the Azurr District, the stage for the final showdown. In retaliation, Milities also deploys all remaining troops to defend its capital city against this large-scale invasion. The two sides are evenly matched, but Rubrum has no reserves. If the dominion forces lose this battle, Rubrum is doomed. It is up to Class Zero to lead the dominion to victory - no matter the cost.

Expert Trial - Operation Homecoming - Level 37

There is a facility housing dominion prisoners in the West Nesher town of Bazz which is preventing the dominion army from launching an all-out assault on the city. Thus, Central Command decides to send a rescue squad in to liberate the captive soldiers. Class Zero must send a squad of four to extricate the prisoners before the dominion main forces arrive.

Dominion tribune "Trial" (In front of Logistics Officer)

Expert Trial - The Retreat from Roshana - Level 45

Concordian forces intercept Rubrum's offensive at Roshana Province's capital city. The kingdom's pierce onlslaught has the dominion army on the verge if annihilation. Central Command orders a general withdrawal from Roshana and sends reinforcements to assist the escape. Clas Zero must now take on the most daunting of wartime tasks: providing rearguard support for the retreating forces.

Expert Trial - Operation Dragon Slayer - Level 45

Rubrum assumes its impressive numbers alone ensure it an astounding advantage in its invasion of Roshana Province. Unfortunately, Concordia is more than prepared: the kingdom deploys herd after herd of dragons to intercept the dominion army. Class Zero must elimiate these myverns, which pose a grave threat to the campaign, and lead dominion forces to victory.

Tilt cn_LS to steer the airship.
Press cn_T to boost and cn_L1 to brake.
Hold cn_R1 to lock on and press cn_S to fire magic shots.
Press cn_O to land on accessible terrain.

Down airborne enemies by locking on and firing magic shots.
The amount of gil you ear increases with each successive takedown.


When the time is up, head towards Classroom Zero and speak with Moglin to get your Mission Briefing.


MISSION BRIEFING

Mission: The Kingom's Final Hours.

Mission Level: 34.

The dominion is mounting Operation Endgame, a large-scale campaign to annex the Kingdom of Concordia. Rubrum's bold plan is to invade Rilochy, then advance to caputre the royal capital of Mahamayuri, crushing all remaining forces along the way. Class Zero must assist the legions and ensure the successful occupation of the Kingdom of Concordia.

When ready head out and your destination is just North of Eibon Region.

Mission Start.

Select your reserves.
Change equipment if you wish.
Select one active member. (This will be the person you will use on the World map).
Deploy.

Victory Condition: Occupy Rilochy.
Failure Condition: Lose Dominion Main Camp.

The leader will be on his own however he will have haste so his basically a much faster Dracoknight. Once you kill the leader and take over the city you will get a cutscene.

Either kill the enemies as you move further in or just run past them on to the next.

Victory: Defeat all enemies.

Special mission here is to defeat the Ironfist Giant, however its the last enemy to spawn so just keep taking them out until it appears and then kill him! Move on to the last area afterwards.

Area - Town Square
Victory: Defeat all enemies.

Kill all the enemies to bring victory, take over the town and be transported to the final area of the Mission on the World Map.



Once you reach Mahamayuri you will complete the Mission.

Rubrum receives a transmission from an imperial officer who wishes to defect to the dominion. Hoping to glean valuable intel this officer may possess, central Command orders the cadets to take him into protective custody. Class Zero must send a squad of four to the snow-covered Mt. Acrid in West Nesher and take the officer into custody.

Expert Trial - Colonel Faith's Last Stand - Level 49

Even after having successfully escaped to his homeland, Colonel Faith continues his do-or-die resistance against Rubrum and Gewehr Base in the East District. Central Command orders Class Zero to head to Gewehr and occupy the facility.

Dominion Tribune "Trial" (Infront of Logistics Officer)

Expert Trial - The Amiter Resistance - Level 51

Concordia surrenders to Rubrum, but a faction of the Concordian military refuses to accept the decision and instead continues fighting. Troops rally in the town of Amiter, calling out for resistance to the bitter end. Class Zero must send a squad of six to the Dragon Sanctuary to occupy the town of Amiter.

Expert Trial - Dominating the Dragon's Nest - Level 51

As part of their demilitarization of Concordia, Rubrum dispatches a unit to the Dragon's nest to stop the natives from breeding more dragons. However, the dominion troops meet fierce resistance from the local forces. Upon hearing the news, Central Command decides to send an autonomous cadet unit to handle the situation. Class Zero's mission is to suppress the uprising and occupy the Dragon's Nest.

Mission: Capturing the Imperial Capital
Date: Cae. VI, 842.
Mission level: 36

Having lost over half of their forces in Azurr, Milites is unable to prevent Rubrum from invading the imperial capital of Ingram, Imperial forces in the city refuse to submit, however, and they greet dominion troops with fierce resistance. With dominion casualties mounting at a staggering rate, Central Command dispatches Class Zero to the imperial capital via airship.

Now head towards Classroom Zero and speak with Moglin before being told to head to the Airship Landing. Before you get there you will get a cutscene.

Machina will leave your party. Now head towards Airship Landing and once there you will get another cutscene.

Boss Battle - General Qator Bashtar.

He is insanely quick, however while moving he will not attack so his speed isn't that theatening, what is are his moves. When he decides to stop chasing you and moving about, he will attack so prepare for it, dodge as best as you can before trying to attack. You will focus mostly on trying to hit the breaksight strikes to knowck him down and take him out. When he falls you will complete the Mission.
His move set is as follows:
- Waits a moment before charging you. Breaksight will appear before he attacks.
- He will shoot a machine gun at you while shifting left or right around you.
- He will shoot small pink energy balls that will home in on you.
- He will shoot a volley of explosive shells around you.

You will have to accept Cid's Crucibles before you can continue, if you fail your leader will die and you will have to try again until you finally finish it. When you do you will get "SPARED" appear on the screen, meaning you succeeded, now you will switch to the second team.

Endure the onslaught until the time runs out - 02:15 minutes.

This one isn't bad, you can either keep dodging until the time runs out or keep killing them one at a time waiting. Once it's over you will be spared and you will switch parties again.

There's nothing here other than the Phantoma on the floor, pick it up and move on.

Try to stay on the oppersit side of the cube enemies, the Hundlegs are rather easy to dodge. Once you have done both in a row without getting hurt you may proceed onwards.

You will have to light all the candles in this are so I highly recommend a long range person. The Reaver will slowly pick off your team mates while you take out the Cubes and the candles. When you kill all the enemies, head towards the exit to move on.

Just run on through like the other Chamber of Fate.

Area - Cloister of Inspiration (Revisited)

If you haven't already encountered Iron Giants (Airship sidequest) You have to lower its health until killsight strike appears as this is the only way of killing them.

As you enter the next room you will get a cutscene.

Become l'Cie; This will put you into a new chapter, Chapter Darkness. You can not win or survive, you will keep fighting till you die and you will get a game over screen and have to do everything again.

Remain mortal: Choose this option to continue on with the story.

This is a safe zone with a terminal, save if you want before moving on.

If you look at the portals, there will be red gems at one of them. Take those routes.
NORTH, NORTH, EAST, WEST, EAST, NORTH, SOUTH.

Take that route to take out the enemies as quick as possible. Once you are spared, use the portal.

As you walk in you will get a message "You will all face Judgement together. Select three members for the first party. Select three members for the second party." Once ready, Go either right or left, I went left (East).

This isn't as hard as it sounds as your allies can use physical attacks, you can either use magic to help kill the enemies or lure them so they can get slaughtered! Once you kill all enemies, the door will open and you can move on, before doing that grab the cest for a [Violet Phantoma]. When you reach the exit you will switch teams.

Area - Cloister of Adumbration (Revisited)

As the second team just head towards the other exit.

Elimiate all enemies and proceed to the next chamber - 6 minutes.

While fighting the enemies here, the floor wil light up, the red squares will damage you if you touch and stand over them. Kill the enemies and move on as quickly as you can. Once you pass you will switch to the other party.

Nothing but a [Cinnabar Phantoma] on the ground, pick it up and move on.

This gives a lot of people trouble, however it's pretty simple when you figure it out. Kill all the enemies first, then destroy three of the four pillars after that as you watch, the flames will appear and will change while the floor rotates, destroy the final pillar when the flames are beside the yellow symbol by one of the edges. When it stops the door should open for you. Continue onwards.

This can be hard, you need to try and either gain the attention of the enemies or kill thme before they land a single strike on your ally.

Take out the Dominion Legionaries as quickly as you can before dealing with Golem, his slow but powerful so you shouldn't have too much of a problem dealing with him. Once you finish off al enemies you will be taken back to the Portal of Destruction.

Area - Chaple of Destruction (Yellow)

Eliminate your unseen foes - 10 minutes.

You can still lock on to the enemy so keep your distance and pick them off one at a time.

These are like General Qator and Colonel Faiths' MAs fast and hits hard, focus on one at a time and never stand still othewise it will hurt. When you take them out you will get teleported back to the Portal of Destruction.

The enemy is Gilgamesh. So treat him just as such, dodge and wait for the breaksight strikes to take him down fast. Be careful of the Dreadnaught constantly blasting the battlefield.

Very simple, just kill them before they kill you, This is basically not a challenge you need to worry about, you'll die before the challenge will kill you. Grab the chest to get a Pearl Phantoma before moving on.

Area - Chaple of Destruction (Blue 2)

Dracobaltian x 6

Items:
None.

Very simple, the enemies are exactly the same as the ones you fought before.

Area - Spiral of Rebirth
Cid's Crucible:
Reach the top without falling in - 10 minutes.

Just keep moving, the pool of blood will rise and if it touches you, you'll die. The cubes do a tonne of damage and will knock you back, but once you figure out how to move, you can easily avoid them, head to the top and reach the portal to instantly fail the challenge and kill all of you. You can't avoid this.

As you slowly walk down, dodge to move faster, reach the crystal to get a cutscene.

This is the final safe zone before the last boss. Save and move on.

You can't win this fight so just get everyone killed.

"Machina and Rem have transferred their power to the rest of Class Zero for this battle. When one member falls, call another one from your reserve party."

The second time round is a different story, you're the one who can't be killed, you have to land strikes and then harvest from the boss before switching to another member and repeating the same process until you have done it with all 12 members.

Moveset:
- Slams down with his spear which is easy to dodge, Breaksight appears as he is slamming down.
- He will slide his right hand across the platform.
- Slams both hands down as red thunder will appear around him. Breaksight will appear before the thunder does.


After you defeat the boss you will get a cutscene.
