I never got into Digimon before, but have been anice active pokemon player in the past, heard good thing about it so thought to give it a try.

    Let's start:

    Story:

I'm not going to spoil anything but you play as someone attacked by a digital identity in digital space. It leaves you with a digital body being able to be active in the real world, but also makes you able to connect into cyberspace where the opportunity arises. A detective takes you and and sees good use of your abilities. ThUS starting your adventures.

I find the story to be better then most pokemon games but might be confusing at times.

    Gameplay:

It plays a bit like pokemon, battling gives you experience and makes your digimon stronger until it meets the requirements to digivolve. Tactical it isn't as strong as pokemon, but it's simple to get into and gives you a lot of freedom to try different digimon without too much sacrifice.

Hard mode can be somewhat challenging if you are new to the game.

One thing that I don't like is that there are 2 different digimon that increase exp gain by a lot and having multiple of them stacks. It can break the game a bit if you grind, but the grind is big if you don't have them with you to lvl up your digimon.

    Graphics/audio:

Graphics are quite bad for ps4, as it's also intended for vita. Although it never bothered me, don't playe this game for the visuals.

Audio seems to only be in Japanese, but has English subs.
