END GAME: With story mode said and done, there are still some trophies you'll need to earn. Thankfully, most of these will be earned as you progress through your 6 playthroughs with all the characters. Some will even be earned on your first playthrough! The following is a list of all non-story related trophies:
As previously mentioned in this walkthrough, playing solo through Story Mode will enable you to have a follower. There are 3 total, the Templar, Scoundrel and Enchantress. You will obtain both the Templar and Scoundrel in Act I and the Enchantress in the beginning of Act II. Once you complete the Enchantress quest, you will obtain the following:
Once you have unlocked the blacksmith (Act I), repair any item with him and you will obtain the following:
Craft 100 items with the blacksmith (I suggest letting this happen naturally or just craft low level items) and you will obtain the following:
Once you have 328,000 gold and have a death's breath material (only dropped by elite monsters that are level 61 and above), upgrade the blacksmith to level 12 and you will obtain the following:
Once you have unlocked the jeweler (Act II), socket any socketable item with any type/tier of gem and you will obtain the following:
Once you have any number of gems required that can be combined to create the next tier version of said gem, do so with the jeweler and you will obtain the following:
Once you have 22,000 gold and have a death's breath material (only dropped by elite monsters that are level 61 and above), upgrade the jeweler to level 12 and you will obtain the following:
GemkataRaise the Jeweler to level 12.
Once you have unlocked the mystic (Act V), equip your character with low level/low grade items in all slots (do this to make the cost of enchanting extremely cheap). Enchant every item you are wearing and you will obtain the following:
Trade-inReplace a property with Enchanting.
Once you have 23,500 gold, upgrade the mystic to level 12 and you will obtain the following:
HARDCORE MODE: Once you are comfortable playing hardcore (see general hints and tips + character build), pick what class you feel is best to play (Witch Doctor is by far the easiest character to play in hardcore to obtain all hardcore related trophies). Complete story mode in hardcore and you will obtain the following:
ADVENTURE MODE: Once you have completed Story Mode on any difficulty, you will unlock Adventure Mode. You should never play Story Mode if Adventure Mode is available to you (unless you are playing just for fun of course). This mode allows you to seek bounties (5 per Act) with 2 Acts having bonuses where you receive double the amount of blood shards (see general hints and tips). Completing 500 bounties and you will obtain the following:
In Adventure Mode, there are Nephalem Rifts, available at any town by having 5 keystone fragments (obtainable by completing bounties, through completing individual bounties and through the horadric cache you receive after completing all bounties in an Act). Kill 500 enemies while in the rift and you will obtain the following:
Also while in a Nephalem Rift, complete it in under 15 minutes and you will obtain the following:
WRAP UP: Kill everything! That is the mentality to have in this game. Rush as much as possible but be sure you are slicing through enemies along the way as well. There are several trophies that take a while to obtain and by doing the above, you should obtain them naturally while aiming for the Dream Team trophy.
Obtain 500,000 gold (it can be cumulative and does not need to be "at a single time") and you will obtain the following:
Kill 500 elites (champion, rare or unique) and you will obtain the following:
The ElitistKill 500 elite (champion, rare, or unique) enemies.
Kill 100 treasure goblins and you will obtain the following:
**note** Treasure goblins will be by far the longest of these trophies to obtain since they spawn at random and are difficult to kill if there are multiple enemies nearby. By sure to have an area clear (if possible) when you see one and focus on taking it out immediately. They should be top priority throughout the game.
There is an oddball skill related trophy that may require a couple practices before getting it right if you are not using the Wizard. It is easiest to obtain with the Wizard while at the Cemetery of the Forsaken in Act I. Simply have the Ice Armor skill activated with the Frozen Storm rune ability and run around the cemetery until you have destroyed 50 objects (start from the southeast section near the entrance and work your way clockwise). Do this and you will obtain the following:
Once you have reached level 70 with any character, you will obtain the following:
Once you have reached level 70 with any character, in hardcore you will obtain the following:
On your last level 70 normal character, transfer any items from all previous normal characters that are legendary items with a level 70 requirement (these can be actual legendary items or crafted legendary/set items that require level 70). For all remaining open slots, you should have plenty of blood shards to gamble with if you have been doing your bounties (see general hints and tips). Use my suggested method to obtain legendary items to fill all remaining slots and be sure to utilize the exit-to-homescreen strategy mentioned in the previous section of this walkthrough. Once your character is wearing all legendary items with a minimum requirement of level 70, you will obtain the following:
Once you have reached level 70 with all characters (again, normal and hardcore characters count towards this trophy), you will obtain the following:
Dream TeamReach level 70 with 6 different classes.
And of course, once all trophies have been obtained, you will earn the best trophy of them all:
