Do not pause the game in the Hi Score mode. The game will not allow you to unpause and you must restart all of your progress in Hi Score mode if this happens.
Start by choosing Japanese Original Mode. Press 
to get past the controls screen, then pause. Enter game settings, then change Difficulty to level 1 and time to the slowest. Back out and agree to reset the game.
Now, reach character select and choose Mature which is the blonde lady in the bottom right. Then, choose whoever for the rest. Now, for every fight, just keep kicking your enemy with 
as they get up. Your goal is 200k points. You'll want to start out by getting 3 perfects in a row for the first fighter. To make this easier, after getting a perfect on the first round, pause and select "Create interrupt save." Now, if you get hit at all in the second round, you can pause and return to title menu. Keep doing so until you get a perfect in the second round, then create a new save. Keep doing this until you reach 200,000 points (should take like 7-8 perfect rounds). Once that 3rd trophy unlocks, let the enemy defeat you. You will reach a screen asking you to enter your initials. Just mash to enter and save them. Then press to allow your highscore to be published online. All of this will unlock the following trophies:
Record scoreThe score has been posted to the online rankings.
Pause and return to title screen.
Next is Hi Score Mode. In this mode, you can't change the difficulty or use "Create interrupt save." Otherwise, use the same method as in Original Mode. You will have to score 40k points, then submit your high score. Your main goal will be getting a perfect in the first round again. Once you can pull that off, it should be relatively easy to reach 40k. After you hit it, just allow the next enemy to defeat you. Then, press to submit your highscore. This will unlock the final trophy:
HI SCORE PlayerThe score has been posted to the online rankings in the "HI SCORE MODE".
